i hope meds help him and you dont need surgery...or something else does help...
and i remember that on the dog training place, there was one of there working dogs, who had this, but they only did know this, as the dog jumped on his dog house all the time and did need emergency vet when one f the handler found him down on the ground crying, they found out that it was a twisted stomach and bloat...but i did not remember the name now i know it...they did the surgery where they did what wiki did say they "firmly attaches the stomach wall to the body wall, to prevent it from twisting inside the abdominal cavity in the future "...with slow feeding big chunks food and 4times a day he was good to work in an different place again as they did not want him to jump on thing when searching things.
can your vet cut the price a bit, or let you pay in small parts so you could pay it slowly over time? or use video of surgery so that vet students can watch how it is done right by a pro, some clinik may do it for free then....really dont know
all will wôrk out, one dog is bether and the other will get there too! ^^

Unfortunately my vet won’t do that you have to pay everything up front and this surgery is $3,000+ here.
