Ram bows his head slightly to his leader, respecting her. However, he has no intention of following her orders. You've had enough 'alone' time today, Serena. He thinks with a sigh, watching as she drops the little green bird on the ground. Despite her prickly demeanor, Ram likes Serena. He respects her for her courage and brash leading style. She does what needs to be done and that is that. No foolishness and no side stepping around the subject. He looks back to the little fuzz ball of a dog, waiting to see what Paris will do.

Paris sniffed the bird in front of her and backed up. It looked like her little green food bowl at the kennel house. She whimpered before whining and snorting at the same time. She missed her other dogs and since she wasn't there that meant someone else was eating out of her little green dog bowl. She whined and looked at Ram and the dog in front of him. "My gween bowl." she muttered sadly in a voice that sounded like a smaller pup was talking to the two dogs. She snorted again and stepped foreward to sniff the bird again before sniffling quietly.

{Serena}
"I didn't poison it, if that's what you're wondering," she growled, before whisking off. Ram found the pup; she was his responsibility now. Flicking her ears, she headed back towards the rest of the Pack, hoping that she wouldn't have to wake any stragglers.

Ram looks down at the pup. She will never last, if she keeps up with the whining. He thinks, not understanding how any dog could turn down fresh meat. "I suggest you eat it." He says flatly, "Food doesn't come in bowls out here." With that, he turns and follows Serena, trotting off after her at an easy loping pace.

Paris nodded at the dog that was probably in a high position by the way she spoke. The small pup took a small bite of the meat. It tasted funny, nothing like she had eatin from the kennel. Paris looked at Ram and nodded. "It looks like my bowl at home." she muttered and took another nibble. Her small stomach rumbled and she realized how hungry she was. Putting aside the fact that the meat tasted funny, the small black fluff ball started nomming down on the bird, not noticing Ram and the other dog trotting away.

{Serena}
"What are you going to do with it?" She asked, flicking her tail in the general direction of the pup. "It reeks of the kennel, the others would react pretty badly. I don't think any of the rest of them are willing to take on an extra burden, I know I'm not." Looking back at the bundle of black fur, she watched as Paris devoured the bird. "Pup like that won't survive too long by itself. It'll need someone to teach it how to fight and survive here. We're becoming like wolves, almost. Ready to do anything to keep ourselves and our families alive."

Ram looks back over his shoulder at the little black puff ball. Good. At least she has the sense to eat when there is food in front of her. He thinks I've seen other house dogs that won't touch fresh meat... He sighs and looks back at Serena, "Well, I can't just leave her now..." Ram trails off for a moment, thinking. "She might be useful, I mean there are plenty of small spaces we haven't been able to get into." Something about his voice makes it sound like he is trying to convince himself. "Heck, Paris seems pretty smart, maybe we can get her to open doors for us or something." His tail wags slowly, somewhat amused with himself. Mom used to say every dog had a purpose... Heck, she has to be meant for something right? He glances back at the little dog, somewhat doubtful.

(Accepted. Sign-ups are pretty hard to do, so I don't really blame you.)

{Serena}
"Well then, if you're going to keep her, she's your responsibility. That includes feeding her, keeping her out of trouble and making sure the Dobermans don't devour her, and you've got minimal help from me. If you're willing to take that on, then keep her, by all means." Serena wasn't planning on allowing the pup into her pack, but having someone outside with ties to them would be useful... she would need every resource she could get if she wanted to make it through the winter. Shuddering slightly as a sharp breeze hit her full in the face, she ducked behind a dumpster to get away from it, cursing her short coat.

Paris finished what she could of the green bird. Getting into the smaller places to get meat was hard for her, considering she didn't have the long muzzle most dogs had. The pup backed up from the bird and looked around, just in time to see the dog that gave her the bird run behind the dumpster. A moment later, the pup felt why. A sharp breeze came through, it ruffled Paris's black coat and made her shiver a bit but she was otherwise undisturbed. Poor doggie with her short coat. Paris thought and looked up at Ram, wiggling again. What other things will Ram show me? Paris barked at Ram before scampering around as fast as her short little legs could take her before tripping and skidding on the road.
