Want to fall in love?: Yes <3
Personality:Gentle and sweet. She can be unpredictable, but most of the time she is gentle and loves to take care of others. Although, she can be strong willed at times and she is not afraid of a fight, putting others before herself is just another one of her amazing qualities. She loves swimming and warming herself in the sun, she loves the sights and smells of the forest, but the one thing she likes the most is watching the sun set.
History:Karma leapt into the swirling waters, looking around as she fought for survival. She turned, looking behind her, she pause, the sound was gone. She howled, again she heard the cry, she swam against the current, trying to reach it. It was within her sights, with one final push, she reached it, grabbing it by the scruff, she hauled it towards her, the body lay limp in her jaws. Her paws beat the water, trying to save the bundle of fluff in her mouth, the current dragged her away, closer to the centre of the fast-flowing river. She needed to get to the other side. With an inner strengh, she pushed as hard as she could, her paws fighting the waters beneath her. She was falling behind, yet she continued. She moved her paws twice the speed, she was halfway to the edge. Karma struggled, all her focus was on saving the life in her jaws. The pups life was on her paws, she had to save it. She could not quit now. She thrust her paws through the water, she soon felt the stones underneath, she pulled herself up the stones and lay the body on the ground. She lifted herself up and licked the pup, "Can you hear me?" she licked it's little chest, "Please?" she curled her tail around the pup to warm it up. She lay down next to it and continued to lick it. The pup coughed up water, it slowly opened it's little eyes and looked at Karma, "Where, am I?" the little pup asked. "Your safe with me." Karma nuzzled it, checking it's heart-beat. It's safe, for now. She recalled seeing it thrown into the river, by another creature, it looked like a wild cat, she witnessed it all. Seeing the pup struggle, she had jumped in, determined to save it, this is how her story begins...
She woke up next to the pup, she licked it to wake it up, "Wake up, little one." she smiled, watching it's little eyes open. She gently lifted it up and carried over into the shade, so the heat would not harm it. She smiled and waited for it to fully wake up. "What's your name?" she asked the pup sweetly, it's markings had not come through yet, but it was clearly a Dog of some sort. It was cute, a little Dog that she could care for, "I'm called Misty." the little pup smiled, Misty, how cute! Karma thought, I get to look after her! "My name's Karma." she smiled at Misty. Karma looked around, "Stay here!" she called before running into the forest. She smelt a deer, she followed the scent and came upon a deer with a limp. She stalked towards it, in a hunters' crouch, when she was close enough, she leapt, locking onto it's throat. She throttled the life out of it. With her fresh-kill in her mouth, she padded back to Misty, "For you!" she smiled, she new Misty would not be able to eat it all, so it could fill her stomach also. She licked the last of the deer up and looked at Misty, "Do you feel full now?" she asked. Misty nodded and lay down, she sighed with happiness and closed her eyes. Karma checked she was asleep before walking to the stream, there she took a long drink. Smiling to herself, she wandered back to Misty, she was still asleep, she curled herself around Misty and fell into a deep sleep.
When Karma woke, Misty was no-where in sight, "Misty!" she called, frantically looking around for her. She had her scent and followed it, it was a long way but she finally came to Misty, "Misty!" she licked her, "Are you ok?" she checked her, she was fine. "I was hunting!" Misty called. Karma smiled, "Just don't go too far, I don't want you hurt or lost." she nuzzled her. Misty smiled and stood up. Karma smiled and picked her up by the scruff. She then began to walk back home. It was getting dark by now, they had to hurry. Karma picked up her pace and started to run home, the forest was hard to make out. A hiss broke the silence, Karma stopped in her tracks and placed Misty between her paws. She looked towards the noise and saw green eyes gleaming at her from behind a thick bush. She gasped and dipped her head towards Misty. She grabbed her by the scruff and slowly backed away, after she did, she ran from the creature. She heard pawsteps behind her and the warm breath on her back, Karma pressed on and ran faster and faster, into her den. She tumbled inside and hauled Misty to the back, she stood in front of her, teeth bared. As the noise crept closer, the threat loomed over them, casting a shadow over the ground. Suddenly, a massive paw entered then den, the creature unsheathed it's claws and prepared to strike. Karma was faster, she bit down on the paw and pulled the creature in, with her free paws she clawed at it's face... Karma woke mext to Misty, What? A dream? It couldn't be! she looked around for any sign of the creature, none! Must have been a dream. "Misty? Did you see anything last night?" Karma asked, just to be sure. Misty yawned and opened her eyes, her little pink nose sniffing the air, "No, there was nothing." Karma smiled and nuzzled her, "Ok, thanks." she laid her head down and waited for the sun to shine.
The sun shone down on Karma and Misty, Karma stood up and stretched, warming herself in the sun. Misty was already hunting by now. Karma lay down and waited for her to return. She sniffed the air and smelt the little stream nearby. She stood up and padded over to it, once there, she took a drink and then jumped in. She laughed as the cool water soothed her, she began swimming around, splashing the water and diving under. She spend a few hours there, she was soon tired and pulled herself out of the water and shook herself down. She smiled to herself and took a slow walk home, the ground was soft underpaw and the gentle breeze was cooling against her fur. She soon came upon Misty, a rabbit dangling from her jaws, "Nice catch!" Karma smiled. She padded over to her and nuzzled her. Misty smiled, she lay down her kill and nudged it towards Karma, "For you!" she smiled, "This is for looking after me!" Karma smiled and tore a strip off for Misty and then ate some herself. She looked around and saw the sun setting, "Look at the sun, Misty, isn't it just beautiful?" she then lay her head down and fell into a deep sleep.
The air was stale that morning, as if something was wrong. Karma yawned and opened her eyes, the forest was tinged black, Um, must still be night she thought to herself. She stood up and walked around, she looked to the moon, although, the moon was not there. She decided to go to higher ground and look for it, she padded towards the mountains and looked at the sky, still not there. So she walked higher and higher, she looked again at the sky, nothing, not even one star. Something is wrong... she thought to herself. A warm wind surrounded her, she searched frantically around her, she saw Misty, but, she was not with Karma, "Misty!" she called, Misty did not move, she looked towards Karma, her eyes blank and lifeless, "Why Karma? Why?" Misty's voice echoed around the mountains. Karma reached a paw towards her but the image faded, a tear slid down her cheek. Karma lay down looked around, "Misty! Please! I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!" she cried. She lay down and laid her head on her paws and cried to herself.
Karma was woken by Misty calling to her. She opened her eyes and there stood Misty, perfectly fine. Karma hugged her, "Misty! What happened yesterday?" she asked her, full of worry about what happened. Misty tilted her head, "Remember, I caught a rabbit and we watched the sun setting." Karma's eye's were wide, No, could it have been a dream? It was too real, too real... Misty broke her thought's, "Why? What is it?" Karma shook her head as she came back to earth, she looked at Misty, "N...Nothing, don't worry." she stood up and walked over to the stream and leapt in, the water cool on her hot fur. Was it a dream, or was it something more?...
