THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THE RESORT CHIP EXCHANGE!!! I really didnt think I would manage to get all the resort chip pets this event and that really bummed me out. I'm thankful that everyone behind this event listened to its members and came through <3 <3 <3

Ok either someone really liked my idea for the token swaps from the NPC's, or I'm suddenly a psychic.....orrr it could have been just a really lucky random dumb guess (im putting my bets on the last one, lol!)

very dumb question pardon this but since they now have token trade-ins for others, would the rarity of pets go down?

No, the token swaps won't affect the rarities of the pets. The only thing that affects rarity is how many of each pet there are on active accounts. Even though we can trade in other tokens to get resort chips now, that doesn't affect the RNG when it comes to getting the EPPS cat, for example.
Basically, unless people trade in for a ton of certain pets (like the halloween event a couple years back with the dragons), they're still more than likely going to at least be rare.

I think the only pets left that I need are resort token ones and I had only gotten one resort token after collecting tokens all day today, and only three tokens yesterday after collecting all day with a timer. Four tokens would not buy all four of the pets I missed plus all the items I’m hoping to get so I was feeling pretty hopeless today. Now I’m feeling a lot less pressured to stay up all night to try to collect the tokens I needed. By the way, I really prefer to get everything on my own rather than trade other players. Trading frequently triggers my social anxiety. It’s always a relief when I can complete goals on my own. Hopefully the NPCs will be nice now and give me the outcomes I need on the first try! Wishful thinking, lol.
