Haven't played FR in a while.. a year or so maybe. So, can someone explain to me the different eye-types? How they work - what they mean - more expense/cost/etc?

I didnt see anyone answer this yet so ill try and explain.

The eye types were introduced for FRs 5th anniversary this year. The eye types are randomly generated and you have no control over the outcomes of a nest (besides flight types). So for example you cant breed two rare eyed dragons and get all rare eyed babies you could still get common, unusual ect..

heres a list of naturally occurring eye types:
(these can only be hatched at random and they are listed from most common to most rare)
Common
Uncommon
Unusual
Rare
Faceted
Multi-Gaze
Primal

and then there are glowing eyes which can be purchased from the gem marketplace for 200g. These cannot occur though breeding and must be bought and applied to a dragon. For a few days during the anniversary you could obtain a "scattersight vial" which when applied to a dragon gives it a random eye type. You can only get these through the ah now.

if you are unhappy with the dragons eye type you are able to purchase a "Vial of Tempered Sight" from the mp to revert your dragons eyes back to common.
