2018 Summer Event: Casual Chat v2

As someone who is here since the first summer event, I think the chat kinda blow things out of proportion. Yes i was hoping for more plot today but oh well. Saying there is no story is wrong. It’s just very slow. And it’s most decently not the most stressful event. The most different tokens had when I remeber the eagypt event. I remeber getting so many bricks and no maps.

This event is more of a getting back to the roots event. It reminds me of the medival festival. Slow story but alot cool pets. Like serious I think this is the event with the most new pets. Others where a lot cats and dogs but this one gave us The bird thingys, the okapis, gorillas, the lemurs,...

I do agree that the resort chips are too rare, but as someone who works 6 days a week and also has to take care of her horse, i still manage to get them all (Beside the new ones today).

Everybody can have they own opinion and nobody has to like this event, but I really think it’s not much different than old events. And I really liked the old ones. Because plot don’t help you if the pets you get are so little ore not interesting at all.

Yes this. I left CS a few years back, but was a member before that since literally the first month of it's existence. It could be just that I missed all of these "super plots" that everyone keeps talking about because I was gone, but this event seems like ever summer event that I was ever a part of. There is SO MUCH complaining going on. I get it about the tokens and wish I could help, but come on guys. If you don't like it, so be it. But does it really make you or anyone else feel better about it to just keep complaining? And the staff habe probably already read enough of the complaints to last them a few years, so it's not like anyone really needs to do it to give them hints of how they could do it differently next time or whatever. At this point... well, what's the point?

There's someone auctioning 365 resort tokens rn, 65 of those (I think, if I counted right) being resort chips. That's insane.

i've sold / traded off about 200 tokens in the past 2 days and i feel like the majority has been fruit / construction, but i've had a lot of the chips. enough so to buy 10ish of the macaw eggs and plushies.
granted ive mostly just been using the tokens for personal benefit instead of the event pets but.

Thank. You. I only joined in 2016 so I have no idea what other summer events were like but I feel everyone is going too far in their complaints. Yes, resort chips are too rare and sure there isn't much of a plot but you would think they got absolutely nothing from it all. And stressing over this? Why bother? Chances are, after the event is said and done, it'll be much easier to get what you want. No need to raise your blood pressure. Just relax and, with all the negative comments, I'm sure the staff has heard your suggestions and the next event will be great.

I mean, there is a lot of complaining but I guess it’s just many people that think the same thing and express it a bit. A lot of similar thoughts put together making a big, unintentionally negative grey cloud, if you know what I mean? Everybody says a little something and it gets out of hand.

Also, we see more of it tonight because there is trade ins that need token chips again. Of course the players are going to talk about it

I’m not trying to defend anyone, I know seeing constant complaining gets stressful and annoying, but it’s just people leaving their little grain of sand that ends up in a gigantic pile of negativity, it isn’t really anyone’s fault in particular!

(Some people do add more than a little grain of sand though. I lowkey consider myself one of them, sadly)
