Bellafonte has a bit of a mix of everything, from semi-arid to jungle turf. The stables, which are near the border with Remo, rest on temperate grasslands. Most of its coasts are sandy and relatively dry, despite the proximity to water. The border it shares with Lucrecio is almost completely semi-arid, meaning it is almost a desert.Ascani Falls
This little piece of paradise is a favorite of tourists who visit the stables. Many of Jordain's guided tours bring them here, and many love to swim, although the water is very frigid. Other than these occasion visits, the falls are untouched by human kind. This is also where the water that nourishes the horses at the stables comes from.
Raverna Caverns
Although very popular with tourists, only experienced riders are permitted here. The beautiful and mysterious Raverna Caverns are massive, stretching across the borders of Lucrecio and Kanon. The beauty found within is unlike anything most have seen before. The mystery is that no one is sure how they got here. All that is known is that they are a fun ride for a brave horse and experienced rider.
About Bellafonte
As you walk, Jordain stops and bows to you. "Now I leave you with our lovely boss, Synne Solaris." With that he walks away, leaving you alone for a few minutes.
"Well hello there!" At the sound of the warm female voice, you look up to see a lovely young woman walking towards you. She is wearing jeans and a t-shirt, and has obviously just come back from a ride. "I'm Synne! Welcome to Bellafonte! Would you like to know more about the stables and our ranch here?" You nod, eager to know more.History
Bellafonte was founded in the 1800's by Italian beauty Sylvia Bellafonte. The famous singer used the ranch as her escape, and soon found that wild horses lived on the Isles. After finding one of the mysterious horses injured, she decided to build a barn to house the horses in and began rescuing them. When the Isles were discovered and opened for tourism, Sylvia knew that she couldn't deny to opportunity to raise awareness about the beautiful animals that lived here, so two guest houses were built. After her death in the late 1880's, Sylvia's son took over. The ranch has been passed down through the family for generations, in fact Synne is a direct descendant of Sylvia's.
Today
Today, Bellafonte has 230 stalls and 45 bedrooms. Of the two guest houses, only one remains, and it still serves its purpose. Bellafonte Ranch serves upwards of 300 people a year, many of which are return costumers.
The Guest House
The Guest House, known as Bellafonte Bred and Breakfast, sleeps up to 45 people. Each room has its own bathroom, and the house has one large communal kitchen and dining room. The atmosphere is always friendly, and many of the regulars know one another.
Each bedroom can hold up to three people comfortable, and many of them offer splendid views of the forest around them.
The Barn
The barn houses up to 230 horses at a time, and provides full service care. Every stall has a window and is very roomy, providing as much comfort as possible for the horses. Fresh shavings are laid every day, and the horses are fed twice a day. Clean, fresh water from Ascani Falls is always readily available. Blankets are also offered for the horses that need them. Horses are groomed once a day, whether or not they are to be ridden that day.
Pastures

With 30 full sized pastures, there is always plenty of room for horses to graze. While most of them are turn out, there are several pastures with permanent horses who cannot be stalled. The pastures are groomed and watered at least once a week, making sure that there is nothing within the grass that will harm any of the horses. Horses are turned out together, based on personality and gender. The fencing is strong and high enough that even the most detemined horse cannot get through or over them. Gates provide easy access for riders to fetch their horse during the day, but are locked so that other horses may not follow.
