Appearance: To start with, his hair is short, a little messy, and a dark blondy-brown colour, and his eyes are light blue. He stands at 5' 8'', making him a little bit shorter than most guys, but he doesn't mind this very much. His posture is decent, and he weighs around 135lbs. He does have a scar on his left thumb, but it is not very noticeable unless you look closely at it.

Personality: Leo is often a fairly sweet person, and has an air of naivety about him - but definitely do not fall for that. Sure, he's friendly and usually fun to be around, but be warned about what you might say around him. If there's something that he does not agree with, or he doesn't like, then he will speak up and express his disapproval. He's a dedicated, hard worker, and will always put every effort into his work, but he is also a perfectionist, so he rarely stops or takes a break without whatever he is working on being up to his standards. He is also rather competitive, and is absolutely out only for himself. He won't lend a hand to anyone - certainly not without expecting something in return. He has the desire and determination to make it big, and he won't let anyone stand in his way.

Short Bio: Born into a wealthy family, Leo has never known any financial hardships with his family. Both of his parents work high-end, well-paying jobs, with his father being an actor, while his mother has a high position with a luxury make up company. The idea that he just had to be better than other people was fed to him at a young age, a mindset that he has clearly still got now, with very little room for mistakes that could be costly. He knew he wanted to be a dancer from the age of 10, and has taken dance classes since that age. He is looking forward to graduating at the end of the year, especially as he knows a couple of dance companies have already approached and got their eye on him. He also quite likes cooking, and tends to make food for other people, and he likes vinyl records - he usually has one playing. He does have a fear of dogs, and he does not like pranks, or sci-fi.

Appearance: To start with, Nick has short, black hair, and his eyes are a very deep brown - almost black - colour. He stands at 6'2'', and he has an athletic figure, with a little bit of muscle. He does sometimes seem a little imposing because of his height, but he doesn't mean to. He could also make almost anything look good if he wore it - and he knows it (but he pretends not to).

Personality: Nick is, by all accounts, quite the sweetheart, despite what your first impression of him might be. Sure, he tends to look fairly sullen at times, but don't let that put you off talking to him. He's incredibly patient and loyal, and doesn't seem as though he has an end to his temper. However, that just means, of course, that getting him angry is probably a very bad idea. His loyalties - as he will prove to you - lie with those that he's close to. He cares deeply for those that he's close to, and tends to feel as though he has to make sure that he has something of a prominent role with other people, for fear of rejection or being pushed to one side and forgotten about. He is fairly quiet, though, and does seem to have a bit of a serious side to him as well, however, he has a lot of energy when he's onstage and performing.

Short Bio: Nick grew up around music, essentially, and has always had an interest in it. His mother was a metal-rock musician, while his father is a pop and alternative song writer. He started learning to play piano from the age of seven, along with the violin, and adding on bass guitar (from the age of 10), and harp (from the age of 13). He still plays all four instruments well, and he knows he excels in them. He has chosen not to specialise in any instrument, because he wants to focus on all his instruments as equally as he can. His mother died a few months ago, and he wants to get a tattoo to commemorate her - he's just not sure on the design that he wants. Also, he does struggle a little in song-writing classes, because he's just not sure how to word his lyrics or even start to write a melody that works. Additionally, he is rather adverse to the idea of joining or forming a band with other students, because he doesn't want his sound to be altered or pushed to the background. But he might change his mind... maybe. Additionally, Nicholas is a vegetarian, and he likes astronomy and reading mythology books. He is also allergic - not intolerant - to dairy, and finds it irritating when people don't believe it.

Appearance: Vitali has short, black hair that is longer on top, and tends to look somewhat messy - especially after performing. His eyes are heterochromatic, with one eye being dark brown, and the other an intense light blue that either creeps out or mystifies others. He stands at 6'1'', and he has an athletic build. He has a tattoo of an electric blue lightning strike (not your classic bolt, a proper lighting strike) just under the left side of his ribs.

Personality: Cool, calm and collected, Vitali is the kind of person that you'd never see stressing out while under pressure - certainly not outwardly, anyway. All of his coursework is submitted at least a week early, and he emits a don't-care attitude towards mostly anything that he's not passionate about. Is it a front for something he's trying to hide? Sort of. While most of it is genuine, there is a part of him that is insecure and about to reach breaking point - but he's hiding it because he's not about to be seen by anyone else as 'weak'. Towards most people, he's pretty friendly and good to be around. However, if he decides that he dislikes you - which is, really, mostly based off his first impression of you - then he will be notably colder towards you and sarcastic.

Short Bio: Born in the Ukraine, Vitali grew up in his home country for 15 years before his family moved to England because of a job opportunity for his father, who still works for the company, which designs computers and other technologies.
From the locals, he received quite the mixed response, especially because of his wildly unusual eyes and the fact that he was not fluent English. Still, that didn't put him off, and he shortly discovered his love for music. He started playing electric guitar and singing - also finding out his large vocal range and talent. He's somewhat abandoned playing guitar now - except for certain occasions outside of his studies - so that he can focus on singing. He sometimes gets called a vampire, but he finds this rather funny. Vitali also rather likes drawing, and has a few sketchbooks filled with drawings - he'll show you if you ask nicely - and he loves the rain. He is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian. He's not quite fluent in English, but he's decent with it - writing lyrics and singing in English actually helps him with this. He is allergic to seafood, and has a fear of snakes.

handkerchiefs and other flowy bits of fabric
have become an easy favorite of hers, usually
reserved for concerts or parties.

Personality: Iris can be very, very stubborn. She is prideful; and while she can be as humble as a saint she doesn't get over things well and can hold a grudge like no other. She’s strong, and doesn’t let people down, but has pretty severe moodswings and when they hit, they hit. She is nowhere near stable; but she has gotten very good at hiding it over the years, or covering it up with anger. She was always a bit of a delinquent, and even with the innocence she can't seem to shake can get a bit over the top. She loves animals more than anything though, and is very quickly and easily attached to anything. She has a bit of a complex regarding; she couldnt turn away something or someone that needs help. Through most of her life this made her a doormat, but also very easy to manipulate. She would do anything for anyone, and if twisted enough that could very easily be motivation to jump right on the bandwagon herself. Which is, in essence, what happened to her. As much as she has been shaped by her experiences into a jaded mess of a person, it hasn't changed her nature. She wouldn't hurt a fly, in a deeply literal sense.

Short Bio:Iris was always deeply involved in music, but couldn't seem to stick it out as a vocalist. The first time she went for it she was 16, and ran off with a local band. They found out she was underage and eventually dropped her, and she was crushed. Her father, not entirely sure what else to do and fearing what another gallavant across the country would do to his name, decided to send her to school for it. Opting out of vocals, she is now perusing a potential career as a muscisian.

Appearance: Standing at a fairly short 5'5", Jamie would be easy to miss in a crowd, if not for her mess of slightly frizzy, golden hair that trailed all the way down to her hips to end in blonde tangles. Combining that trait with her delicate heart-shaped face, high cheekbones, pert nose, and wide pine-green eyes, she's what someone may describe as "cute", though, you'd be wise not to say it to her face. She has a petite form with slight curves, although not enough as to be called "curvy", and only barely making the "hourglass" cut. She has long legs in proportion to her size, which is lucky, as otherwise her hair would look rather ridiculous.

Personality: Jamie is best described as a conflicted soul— her heart in the sky and her mind six feet under. Polite, well-spoken, and intelligent is the way her teachers would describe her, while her acquaintances might add friendly, helpful, and outgoing, and those who she considers her friends know her to be compassionate, understanding, willful, observant, and feisty. The few who have known her best, though, are no longer around to give their opinions. They left her long ago, one by one. Not that she held it against them— you can only get so close to someone before you go right through them, and they didn't like what they found behind her smiling veil. She is a character hidden in contradiction, and for once it doesn't help that every single emotion she has can be read quite easily on her face— the emotions themselves are in conflict with each other. One second she laughs in the face of love, the next she passes her heart around like a hot potato. One moment she's twirling around her room, singing her heart out, and the next she's collapsed in bed, digging through her mind for those vital portions of her consciousness that she has not yet grasped.
She does her best to keep her imperfections to herself, to broadcast the image of spirited confidence and beauty that one might expect from a performer, but it's no secret to any who care to look that she has not performed once in her entire school career. In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find more than a few students who have ever heard her sing, despite her well-known love for it. She's a social butterfly and always game for a no-strings-attached deal, but any closer than that and she shrinks away. No best friends, no lovers, no anything. She likes everyone at arms-length. For observational purposes, of course.

Short Bio: She loved singing from a young age, but with enough teasing from her brother and discouragement from her father, she grew to believe her voice would never be enough for her to succeed, which may not be far from the truth. She has a great voice, but she is trying to break into pop, which is not known for holding natural talent (or natural anything, really) above more materialistic values. Of course, she wasn't completely dissuaded- she is now actively pursuing a career in songwriting and creative writing.
Her parents got divorced when she was twelve, so she spent her teenage years with her mom, visiting her dad the first weekend of every month. Due to differing religious and moral beliefs, she and her father already had a difficult relationship. After he tried to set her up with Aidan to help out his business, though, she erased him from her life entirely— deciding to try her hand in applying to the music school her brother had been attending since graduating middle school in order to escape living at home.

Appearance: Despite his well-rounded, well-muscled current appearance, he used to be quite lanky, with long arms and a scrawny torso, and his sometimes-bumbling motions can give away his awkward youth to those who watch closely. Of course, now he's quite the looker, and with his dark green eyes and curly mess of golden-brown hair, he's the posterchild of "boyish charm". He's the kind of guy who can look cute, hot, and handsome, all at the same time, and boy does he know it. As mentioned, his proportions are far more appealing now than in the past, and while he's on the lean side, he's certainly far from scrawny, and he's grown into his 6'3" form quite well.

Personality: If ya got it, flaunt it! Owen doesn't just follow the phrase- he lives it. A jokester with an easy smile and a strong right hook, he's quite the package; whether or not it's the package you want delivered, he doesn't really care. He'll "deliver" himself to whomever he may please, whether they like it or not. Not that he's violent or forceful in any way— he's a good guy at heart— but he'll flirt and flaunt to no end, and with little shame. The way he sees it, what is there to be ashamed about? At least he's sure to never get stage fright!
Of course, he isn't completely full of it. Once you get past his laid-back, almost-rebellious exterior, it's quite easy to see the softie in him is still very much alive, despite his attempt to bury it after years of torment from his peers. He keeps secrets, sure, but not religiously. By no means does he intend to keep his heart to himself forever— he's just waiting to make sure he's found the right person before he gives it away. But, that's only speaking romantically. As far as his close friends go, he's an open book. He gets jealous easily, and he can be quite petty, but at his core, he just wants everyone he cares about to be loved and protected the way they deserve.

Short Bio: Besides having a nerdy appearance when he was younger, he was also just not "cool" as far as the conventional definition goes. A musical-lover from a young age, while the other kids were out playing tag, he'd stay inside and read play scripts or listen to soundtracks. His middle school years, though, were by far the worst. After a few athletically-gifted males in his grade discovered he had a crush on Aidan, a boy a year above them, they set out to make his life miserable. After enduring relentless emotional and physical abuse for almost two years, a glimmer of light appeared ever-so-briefly in his life, when Aidan and he started to date. Suddenly, it wasn't about sitting through the torture himself— it was about protecting someone else from it. And that made him infinitely stronger. He grew a spine, for lack of a better phrase, and while it didn't stop the bullies from trying, he slowly began to even the playing field. In fact, things were looking up for him. He had a steady relationship and he was preparing to go to a school where he would be more than just the partially-gay actor. But of course, it couldn't have worked out so well. Not with his father standing in the way. See, while his sister had gone with their mother, he had been given to their father. When he was younger, he thought he got the good end of the stick. His dad had an obvious preference for his son over his daughter, so when Owen wasn't being beaten at school, he led a pretty spoiled home life. Only one problem: homophobic father. Lacking the courage to come out to everyone with his dad around, he could do nothing when Aidan abruptly broke things off to be with Jamie. He still holds the betrayal against his sister, and it doesn't help that soon after, she followed him to this school, which was supposed to be his new start.

Personality: Athena Lockwood tries to mask her pain at all times, and uses music and comedy as coping mechanisms. Strangers would see her as the intelligent, carefree, outgoing, humorous, and empathetic social butterfly. Only the people closest to her would realize that she was depressed, lonely, and angry. It only got worse as her grandparents died, and soon everyone she trusted was no longer in her life. She would channel that emotion into her song writing, and after seeing a therapist she eventually learned how to control her feelings. Now she feels like a better person, but occasionally that anger will bubble inside her and burst when you least expect it.

Short Bio: Athena never had a normal childhood. With deceased parents at the age of four and then living at her grandparent's mansion immediately after, she had her life completely flipped upside down. After her grandparents died, she shut everyone out and didn't let anyone in until two years later. After that dark period, Athena decided she was going to be a new person. She started to talk to her friends, and took into philanthropy. Even after all this, she still had a gaping hole in her heart, and desperately needed to fill it in. She decided to apply for the music school everyone was talking about, and hoped it would be that thing to fill the hole in her heart.
