Woo! My fifth parrot egg turned into the one outcome I'm missing (the day three grey), which I'm pretty happy about as my sixth is only a day old!

Also has anyone noticed how these two are close to being completely switched, in regards to colour?

Naw I agree the art of the gorillas is really nice!
I personally reallyyy don't like most primates (especially apes), but that doesn't change the fact that the art is nice ahaha

When I first saw the gorillas I thought they were new lines. Hard to believe they are edited dogs! I actually put them in with my monkies and made and monkies and apes group, because they don't look like the dogs at all. So GREAT job on the gorillas! <3

Tonight's dogs/rat were exactly what I wanted/was expecting design-wise out of a jungle event - I'm so happy we got some Aesthetic (TM) pets too ;3;

I'm one who's not really a fan of the apes - I don't dislike them, but I don't really plan on keeping mine or anything. I think the matching masks thing and the fact that they could possibly have been from actual in-universe apes kinda freaked me out on the whole thing.

I reallyyy love the tree on this rat <3
I feel like the rat itself could use some shading or something to tie it into the tree better, but the tree itself looks gorgeous

Yeah that was my bad, I feel I could have done better on the rat for sure to make it look just as detailed and pretty as the tree (I would have made it look more like stone probably), but unfortunately I ran out of motivation to continue after drawing the tree + small overgrowth. :'c If I ever do something similar like that again I'll probably be better equipped for art motivation to make everything look nice and detailed! I guess in a sense too I meant for the tree to be the main focus, which it is at least? x'D

I actually really like the way it's been done, I think a lot of detail to the rat itself may have risked ruining the overall effect

Also really love the gorillas, I think they're just gorgeous, but then so are most of the pets this event

I have to say, though I do love a lot of pets, especially the lions, I’m a wee bit upset there’s not more “normal” lines, like just Jungal decorative dogs and such. It feels like there’s “too” many new lines... if you know what I mean?

We got the new birds so I doubt we would get another new species. I think the only chance to have snakes would be edits of this dog to basically remove the dog
