@Nightmare moon
Pff, I was joking.
Edit:
So I bought Peak wet food for Lady because my mom had a brain fart at the vet and forgot to ask about Lady's teeth, then she fussed at me for buying "The expensive" wet food for her. She was already eating grain free kibble, why not get the good grain free wet food that has gravy to soften up the
It was Peak or Pedigree or Alpo, and I won't feed my dogs either of those if I had the choice.
That and the Peak was on major sale. I'm talking, same price as the pedigree.

Right after I last posted, I received an email from Embark! Blue’s sample has arrived at the lab, the results are predicted to be ready in early September. I can’t wait!
Yes!!
I'm so excited to see her results. She is legitimately one of the most beautiful dogs I've seen and I'm so curious about what makes her so darn cute

I’ll be sure to post her results on here when they’re ready! I feel like there’s going to be a surprise or two hidden in her DNA.
He’s so cute! Happy birthday to him!

Embarks actual turn-around time is usually a lot quicker than their estimates! I think right now they take about 22 days or so from when they get it to posting the results. Of course if something odd comes up they may run it again to be sure. I'm pretty excited for you.
Believe it or not I see a lot of similarities between Blue and Olive, I wonder if they'll have any breeds in common.

Getting it around that time would be nice! The anticipation of waiting for the results is going to drive me insane, to be honest. I also see similarities between Blue and Olive: blue eyes, similar colouring... I wouldn’t be surprised if they share a couple breeds.
About how long did Olive’s results take from the time the sample arrived at Embark’s lab? I know you tested her fairly recently, so I imagine the wait time would be similar (unless, like you said, something weird happens with Blue’s sample).

I'll get you some as soon as I can!!
for now, a puppy fever photo drop. She only had blk and white puppies, and I was secretly hoping for some red bi's like her

Those pups are cute! I’m sure they’re going to grow up to be as good-looking as their mom, even if they don’t share her colour.

They got the swab Jan 16th, and I got the results Feb 22nd, although I wonder if they had an increased wait time because of the holidays. The 22 days comes from what someone posted on their Facebook group recently (Swab in June 4 and results June 26).
