@ na'vi hey there! interesting, i never knew a song could help with coding so much!
i should definitely try out that method sometime. right now i'm working on re-doing
my coding thread so that i can be more focused and have a clear, neat space to
work with. thanks for the tip!

@w0ah welcome!! gosh i love having so many new people it's amazing,,
usually when i'm running low on muse i just doodle for a little bit (mostly because i'm an artist and that's how i deal with emotions regardless) though i'm not very good at art, i just doodle whatever i'm feeling to a tune in my playlist, sometimes i'll go and just look at random pictures looking for a character form to create when i find an image that's particularly inspiring i'll make a form with it, sometimes when creating a backstory i find an rp plot that i might want to rp out for a bit, usually i brainstorm on that and sometimes (of course not all the time) something comes to me. i also listen to music like na'vi said.
i've also been running low on muse recently,
so i've just made a crap ton of character forms that i don't know what to do with and still no muse ;w;
it's probably not the best way to deal with lack of muse but hey whatever floats my boat ouo.
i've had an idea for like a setting of an rp but i have no idea about anything else owo.

Also swapping rp genres to ones you typically don't dabble in can be HUGE. Prior to like a month
ago I wouldn't touch humanoid rps with a ten foot pole but on a whim I joined my first ever
were-wolf one and I just sparked my desire to RP and make forms again, it's kinda crazy
really lol. All I want to join now are humanoid/shifter roleplays xD

god same, i started dabbling in human/humanoid and i'm kinda hooked.
i don't know if i should post this here but ive had an idea for a sort of shifter rp for a while and want to know what you guys think,,

we were young when we were taken, only five or six. we all felt alone until we found others just like us. others taken, others changed. we were called project A.A.R.D.V.A.R.K. six children taken to an underground facility and experimented on. the experiments had a surprising effect, but it worked as intended nonetheless. each of us, were given an animal to shift into. the animal resembles our personality and we can shift into them at will. we were shielded from the outside world and trained to be assassins. spies. doing our organizations bidding without question. until we grew older. we realized the devious ways of our organization, the order of skulls. a foreign organization bent on human destruction, and we were the keys to ridding earth of humanity. we realized that each of us, had been trained in one specialty depending on our animal half. if you wanted someone to disappear off the face of the earth you called the panther. we're watched, but we're waiting. we have never questioned our leaders orders but now we need to escape. the organization knows nothing of this, but we will get out. we will be free, finally. and hopefully save humanity in the process.

um a lot of this is a wip?? but i kinda liked the idea of a group of shifters that are close friends, raised by the enemy and trained to be assassins and spies and such.

@ azuran why thank you! i love the idea of doing just that, and i think i already do...
my pinterest is filled with pictures i've saved that i'm not even sure i'll use! it's crazy
how many pictures i've saved, and there are so many good ones!

also, i absolutely love the rp idea! it is very unique, and it would be interesting to
develop a group of 'assassins' that are now trying to do good...

@ na'vi also a very good idea! i've been dabbling here and there, even trying out
topics and such. i'd say that i've been practically everywhere on these roleplay forums
over the years. literally... everywhere. i haven't joined in on any shifter/werewolf rps
recently, but i did love them when i used to join them, a lot. i was a sucker for those
cheesy romances and how they would 'find their mates' or whatever. hahaha... those
days...

edit; also, do you guys mind if i use that feature you both seem to have on your rp-
character threads(yes, i have been stalking your rp character threads, i know) toward
the top where you sort them by using headshots/smaller images and link to their
form? i find that very creative, but i don't want to use that unless i get permission i
would hate to a nuisance

aw thank you for the kind words,, and i don't think i can exactly patent anything i just kinda was like, hey that might look cool and added it lol, so you can go for it i guess, if you want to use my 120x120 go right ahead. i actually made that myself in fotor lol so if you want one that matches the color scheme of your storage you can easily make one on fotor C:
i just completely re-did my rp thread like yesterday lol, so that way it looked presentable so i have yet to post a whole bunch of my character forms :P

@ azuran ah no no no, i will definitely be using my own set-up and images, so you

okay so a bit of a vague idea but something that's been in my mind for a bit now
okay so what this is gonna be is this 'hidden tribe living in the shadows' and what
it could be compared to is voodoo basically. they have all these insane rituals and
they talk to the 'other side' which would be both demons and ancestors so they
constantly live under threat but hey hey they've got a high priestess/priest who is
said to keep the demons at bay. they adopt a fairly fluid hierarchy, a single animal
acts as the 'leader' but doesn't have much control unless it comes to dealing with
outsiders or bringing them together to face a threat, they're comparable to a war
general essentially. and than the priest who deals with rituals and spiritual guidance.
they're kind of mystical, others of their species tell a bunch of stories but no one
has ever really seen them.

now what i was thinking was perhaps a small group of outsiders comes across them
and are either perceived as a threat or are cautiously allowed into the territory
and have to learn the tribe's ways.
also i don't know what species? dog, wolf, cat, idk man

oh. my. god. that is amazing! i love that idea so so much! i always have loved the idea
of a hidden/mysterious group, which is exactly what you picked up on with that.

it would be so interesting to have that idea of integrating these newcomers into their
ranks, introducing them to their ways and trying to teach them to be like them... it
would be so different from anything else i've seen, which is what i and many others,
as i'm sure, would like to see!

i feel like almost any species could fit in with that... but i almost feel like felines
would be interesting to see?? i would be living for the aspect that they love to mysteriously
climb the trees and hide there...
