I don't think it's so much that one set is rare but that it takes a lot of tokens to get everything? Mainly with the resort tokens... I'm just now finishing my item collection. I haven't even been focusing on getting the pets. =_=

Oh but one thing that sucks with having so many kinds of tokens is i at least want to keep one of each... that's a lot of tokens I can't use towards trade in. If there was only 4 tokens then I'd only be able to not use 4.

I don't think its any more tokens than normal? Token trade-ins are usually 3 tokens, thats normal. And last year we had several that were 4 tokens. Only 2 were 2 tokens and one of those required 2 of the pearls, which were also used exclusively in the race game and a chance game.

I can understand having so issue those with wanting to keep at least one of each, honestly I prefer to keep multiples of each. I saw some people suggesting a free token batch after trade-ins ended, which would be very nice.

But really my post is mainly pointed at the claims of each token having an equal chance, and "thats why there are too many tokens".

Oh I know I was just trying to get at why people might really be frustrated. Some tokens feel more rare because some take more to get everything.

It only takes one token to enter the duck race and golf coarse but because of luck it takes quite a bit to get everything.

I spent 14 tokens alone getting all the plushies at the duck race... and yes that's with swapping my doubles. >_<

And oh god the pearl game was horrible to... it took forever to get all the fish. Don't get me wrong it was fun but I can see where someone with less time than me would be annoyed with the chance games.

I would suggest getting only enough of each litter to be able to swap. I never bought more than enough to swap and have the complete collection of pets and items so far. This strategy saves ALOT of tokens and makes the even5 much more interesting and fun! Also, with the chance games, try swapping your tokens for preferred outcomes on the swap thread. Many people with the wrong outcome want tokens for another chance at their preferred outcome. c:

I have to say, it has never taken me this much time to get all the pet outcomes as we go along in an event. Plus, does anyone else think the duck races are like...a LOT less fun than the hamster races from last year? I enjoyed getting to watch the hamsters go head to head, as opposed to just hoping my duck will get spit out of the animated hole before the other two random ducks.

So yeah, not having as much fun as last year by a long shot.


ON the other hand, the pets have all been SUPREMELY adorable, sooooo....
