❝If you went up to a felis or a canis and asked them how this war started and who started it, you'd get two very different answers. A felis may say "the canines were hogging all of the resources". A canis may say "the felines killed our young and invaded our territories." This war has gone on for so long that nobody really knows how it started. Felines and canines from all over have battled for decades. I can't tell you if the war will ever end and I don't know who will lose and what will happen when that day comes. But the war has done nothing but tear apart the once peaceful balance of nature. Predators that respectfully competed for prey are now savagely killing for the sake of coming out on top. The felidae are a strong, agile, and swift predator. They are a diverse genus, full of different felines of different shapes and sizes, each feline bears a unique attribute to aid them in hunting--or in this case, in the war. While felines are very strong and swift, they do not work well together (with the exception of lions). They prefer to work alone, making this their greatest weakness. Despite this flaw, felines are a powerful and deadly enemy that strikes fear in their enemies and in their prey.

The territory
The clan lives inside of a u-shaped valley, a very rocky terrain with
plenty of trees and a small stream running through. The cats make
their dens within the rocks in the valley or they dig their own.
While the valleyprovides shelter from invaders, prey is more
difficult to get.

Queen
The Queen oversees all activity in the clan, and are at the front
of the battlefield when in combat.
Viscountess
The mate of the queen. May assist in ruling the clan, but her
word is not absolute, unlike the queen
Baron/ess
The baron, or baroness, acts as the second in command. They
ensure that the clan is in order and doing their assigned tasks.
Spies
As the name implies, spies risk their lives by going into enemy
territory, attempting to gather information from the enemy for
the clan's benefit
Guards
Guards patrol the border, looking out for any canines who wander
too close to their territory. They either attack the enemy on sight
or alert the clan to assist them.
Hunters
Hunters, as the name implies, hunt for the clan. They either travel
alone or in groups in search of food.
Apprentices
Young cats that just reached maturity and are old enough to join
the adults in their tasks. They are not given an official rank, and are
trained by the experienced members. The queen will decide what
ranks apprentices should pursue upon graduation
Cubs
Cubs are young members that are too young to leave the camp.
They stay with their mothers or guardians until they become apprentices.
They are taught by older cats about the world and the war.

The mighty canidae: strong, intelligent, and loyal. Unlike the felines, most members of canidae are social and work well together. So despite their smaller size and weaker agility and climbing abilities compared to the felines, it's the family bond that benefits the canidae. Canidae are very intelligent and well coordinated; any feline knows better than to challenge a strong pack of canidae.

The canines live within a pine forest, sheltered by trees and surrounded
by greenery. Prey is plenty, however water is a good distance away from
the camp and is is easy for enemies to ambush them.
