► Personality: Alex can seem antisocial or intimidating, but most of the time, he just prefers to be alone. Alex isn't necessarily shy, just pretty quiet. He isn't very friendly or extroverted, but he's not mean right off the bat either. He usually speaks only when he needs to and doesn't talk a lot. However, if somebody spoke to him, he would uphold a conversation with probably minimal words unless he felt urged to talk more or less by something about the person. He doesn't necessarily dislike making friends, he just doesn't see a need for it for himself, so he doesn't go out of his way or actively try to make friends. He's actually very sweet and caring to close friends, but otherwise, he can come off as a bit cold. He can get a bit pessimistic at times and has very low self esteem, so he is almost never satisfied with his own performance, and always notices and points out his flaws and he gets pretty self-deprecating. There was a pretty bad period in his life where he had many dark thoughts (it started around when he moved), but he's kind of over it. However, he can get pretty self-destructive at times. He misses his friends in Korea a lot, and is happiest when he gets to call them. Alex can also be blunt and offend or hurt people by accident, because he's sometimes a bit insensitive. He is very hard-working though, and studies a lot, which pays off, as he is pretty intelligent and clever. He also likes everything to be neat and clean, so he often organizes things. If he gets complimented by peers he usually doesn't accept it. When he does get flustered, he tries his best to hide it, but his face and ears can turn red. He feels sort of like he doesn't belong and like his life is a mess due to the move and how he has still not adjusted to his new peers, school, and lifestyle. Alex also has a little bit of a weird quirk where he always notices and pays attention to the features that he thinks are pretty of people. For example, if he noticed that somebody's hands were very delicate and nice-looking, he would probably remember that about that person and observe that when he sees that person. Alex can sometimes judge people based on his first impression of them, even when he doesn't fully understand their situation, and he can sometimes jump to conclusions. He's also very stubborn, and hates being wrong. Alex on the inside is actually a really big softie, and he's a sucker for romance in books and movies, but he doesn't really think a lot about it concerning himself. When Alex wants to help or care for somebody, he usually does it quietly and through small actions. Deep inside, Alex really longs for a close friend, or a few, at this school. Also, Alex can be very mother-like and caring and responsible towards his close friends, and actually does like skinship, but only with his very close friends. ► History: Alex has a fairly normal family. He has one older sister, and his parents love both of their children a lot. His sister is 6 years older than him, and she's getting a job in South Korea and establishing an adult life there. He moved with his mom and dad from South Korea to here about three years ago for his father's job, but he was tutored at home for two years, so he didn't have a lot of time to make friends, and even then, he wasn't very interested in friends. He prefers his life in South Korea than his life here, and he wants to go to college in South Korea, and if he can't do that, he at least wants to get a job in South Korea, so he can go back. He isn't very focused on getting friends. He's more focused on excelling academically, practicing dancing, and video calling his friends in South Korea as often as possible, because he's very close with them. He has a good relationship with his parents and they accepted his sexuality. However, he still doesn't like how they made him move here with them.

Alex somewhat admires the jocks for their athletic abilities and devotion to sports. He has some sort of stereotypical thoughts about them, partially because of experience before, partially because of so many K-dramas he has watched with his mom, partially because some of the stereotypes can be somewhat true at times from what he has seen at this school from a few people.

Ten
Alex has a pretty positive impression of Ten. Ten is nice, after all. Alex is careful not to make the guy angry though. Alex also likes Ten's general kind attitude and his honesty, and hopes to maybe become Ten's friend or acquaintance.

Kian
Alex has a pretty positive impression of Kian. Alex finds Kian really cute, and would like to be friends with the guy. Alex likes that Kian is a good listener and that Kian is considerate and a nice person in general. He seems very friendly, and Alex would like to be able to know him better.

Jackson
Alex has a kind of negative impression of Jackson, because of how Jackson sometimes cheats on girls, creates rumors, and also betrays people who trust him. But Alex doesn't really know why Jackson does it, and if Alex found out why, perhaps Alex's thoughts on Jackson would change.

Alex has a pretty neutral impression of Zane. He thinks Zane's humor and charm are great, and Alex also likes how Zane is trustworthy. The flirting is a bit... weird, though. Plus, Alex hasn't seen Zane a lot, so that explains why Alex doesn't really have many thoughts about they guy.

Alex actually admires the cheerleaders sometimes due to their amazing flexibility (which he is trying to work towards, in order to make himself a better dancer) and how they memorize all their routines, since it's similar to the dancing that he loves so much.

Luciana
Alex has a kind of negative impression of Lucy. Alex also doesn't like how moody Lucy can be. Even though she might not have the best temper either, Alex finds her pretty, but that's solely based off of her appearance. He doesn't like how snarky she can be either.

Addison
Alex has a pretty positive impression of Addison, since she is overall a pretty kind person, from what he has heard and seen. He also likes how she can stand up for herself. He thinks they might be able to become good acquaintances, or even friends, if she uses the right approach when talking to him.

Mina

Alex has a pretty neutral impression of Ariella. He doesn't know a lot about her, but from what he sees, she seems to be pretty nice. She seems to want to branch out more and talk to more people outside of the "cheerleader" clique, and he finds that pretty cool.

Kyleigh
Alex has a sort of neutral, sort of positive impression of Kyleigh. It's neutral because he doesn't know a lot about her, but from what he's seen, she's energetic and can also be a good person to cheer others up.

Freya
Alex has a pretty neutral impression of Freya. He likes how she tries to befriend anyone, and also how she doesn't judge anybody she doesn't really know yet, and he hopes that he can be like her in that sense.

Jesse
Alex has a pretty positive impression of Jesse. He thinks that how outgoing and friendly she is is good, and he also likes that she cherishes and keeps good friendships.

Alex thinks that the artists are pretty amazing and cool, since Alex admires many types of art.

Pierce
Alex has a kind of neutral impression of Pierce, and it is also partially positive. He likes how Pierce is caring, and also humorous. But Pierce's ignorance can be a bit annoying at times. However, Alex finds that Pierce's childishness can be cute. Alex also finds Pierce attractive, but doesn't really have a crush on the guy.

Alex has a pretty neutral impression of Niall, which is also a bit positive at times. Alex doesn't really see Niall a lot, but thinks that it's good that the guy is pretty laid-back.

Alex has a kind of negative impression of Alexis, but overall it's pretty neutral. He doesn't like how argumentative she can get, but her humor is an up side to her personality. He also doesn't really like touchiness so he doesn't understand how she is comfortable with so much skinship, but that is just her preference. He also thinks that the fact that she can play several instruments is really amazing, and that her voice and appearance are both pretty.

Lucas
Alex has a pretty positive impression of Lucas. Alex can find Lucas's crying annoying, but deep down, he pities the guy, and wants to somehow cheer him up. Alex also finds Lucas's behavior kind of cute. He also finds Lucas's painting pretty nice, and thinks that Lucas is pretty. Alex would want to become friends with Lucas if he had the chance. Since Lucas likes watching K-dramas too, that's something that he and Alex have in common. In fact, Alex actually harbors a small crush for Lucas, although he'll never admit it.

Daniel
Alex has a somewhat positive and somewhat neutral impression of Daniel. He thinks that Daniel's sketches are absolutely amazing. Alex likes how Daniel is usually quite calm, and actually a bit gentle, from what he has seen. Alex also likes how Daniel stands firm on what he really cares about. It's off topic, but Alex also thinks Daniel is kinda handsome so there's that.

Henry
Alex has a pretty positive impression of Henry. He thinks that Henry's kindness is great, and finds that Henry's clumsiness is pretty cute. Not to mention, Henry is really attractive. Alex also feels like Henry's art is super cool, and follows Henry's art insta account, and likes every post. Alex would love to be friends with Henry, since they both also like K-dramas, and Alex wants to know some more K-pop. Henry is pretty shy, but Alex might approach him first in order to befriend him, since Henry really interests Alex and Alex wants to be friends with him.

Alex doesn't think the outcasts are really outcast. He just thinks that they aren't really in one of the cliques. He doesn't necessarily feel a connection to them either because they're all "outcasts".

Alyssa
Alex has a pretty positive impression of Alyssa. He thinks she's very kind and likes how she is the peacemaker among people. He feels like the might be able to become friends or acquaintances if she approaches him first. He also thinks that she looks quite pretty.

Emily
Alex has a neutral impression of Emily, which can be positive at times. He doesn't interact with her a lot, because he doesn't know sign language, but is curious about her, and wants to start learning sign language.

Cassius
Alex has a kind of positive impression of Cassius. He thinks that Cassius is very kind, and admires how Cassius is nice to everybody. Alex would probably be a bit nicer to Cassius than he would be to anybody else in the school, since he doesn't like how Cassius gets bullied or pranked a lot, and feels like Cassius should get some kindness in exchange for how nice he is to everybody else.

Chase
Alex has a pretty neutral impression of Chase, which can be a bit positive at times, mostly since he doesn't know much about her. Alex does think that how much she cares for her brother is admirable though.

Indigo

Alex has a pretty positive impression of Indigo. He actually really likes her personality. He thinks that her optimism and just overall cheeriness are really infectious, and he can't help but be uplifted around her. He also wants to become friends with her and finds her little quirks, like her clumsiness and obliviousness sorta cute sometimes.

emily cleary probably isn't what you imagine an outcast to be. she's happy, and pretty, and smart. she doesn't struggle in school or act up at home. she's just a normal girl. she also happens to be mute. she can hear just fine, but she's been selectively mute since her childhood. as a child, she struggled with extreme social anxiety that caused her to go silent to avoid interacting with other kids. she started teaching herself sign language through library books and the internet. as she got older and was treated for her anxiety, she chose to stay silent and stick to signing. while she was no longer avoidant of people, she had gotten used to the company of just herself. she doesn't interact with many people at her school, but she has made some friends through the internet, where she doesn't have to worry about speaking aloud and can be herself easily.

emily doesn't care much for romance. language is too much of a barrier there. she knows if she ever got involved with someone, they would want her to give up her silence, and she isn't willing to sacrifice that. her muteness is a part of her. if a person truly loves her, they won't force her to change. she'd love to have a long-term partner someday, settle down with a few animals. she's not expecting it anytime soon though.
