


I might as well clarify this, while working on the okapi lineart I did lots of research for okapi photos to use as references. As I made my reference collage, though, I noticed some of them had extremely dark coat and minimal white([
x], [
xx]), while others showed the more common red coat with very contrasting light colors on areas of softer skin like the face and underbelly([
x], [
xx]). I found that super interesting and decided to show this coat variety too... and then I added a leucistic okapi just for fun XD. As far as I know no leucistic/white okapis have been observed, so that's only my guess on what it would look like.
