Gibbs nodded "so how was it dangerous? why are you so opposed?" he asked. his plan had been to convince them to do what he said and he feared he might have messed that up.

Con shrugged. He didn't really know the answer to either of those questions.

Beth stood up and made her way to the door. When she got outside she headed for the cells where they were keeping the boy that did this to her.

Gibbs nodded, "now for your punishment." he said turning to address Rowan.

Rowan's heart fluttered when he heard that, was he still going to chuck him out?

Dunny's eyes widened. Did Roran really need punishing any-more? he asked himself silently.

Beth saw the building know. She was almost there. Just a little more.

Gibbs looked at him,
"When Beth feels better, she'll get to give you a beating. if she wants to."
he told, him and if she didn't he probably would. But he didn't tell him that bit.
"From now on, you will always be at my side, or at one of the Lance Corporals. You'll sleep at the opposite end of the dorm, where I sleep, instead of with the other privates."
This was partially to protect him, and partially to keep and eye on him.
"You will be allocated the worst jobs."
This was the physical labour, if he was tired, he was less likely to cause trouble.
"If there is any partner work, you will be partnered with me."
This would give him an opportunity to make sure he was working to the best of his capability's.
"If I or one of the Lance Corporals cuff you, you will accept it. If you ever raise a hand, dis-obey an order, put one toe out of line, you will be sent home."
This was too ensure he had full control over the boy. Sometimes he had to struggle to remember that he was boy, not a highly trained marine, at least not yet.

Dunny stood still listening to the terms. he realised he didn't envy Roran.

Roran felt down heartened as he heard how miserable his life was going to be for the next three years.
