okay hear me out so like

imagine if there's like, gigantic creatures running around, screwing stuff up and that's why the gate is there; to keep them out. maybe theres even some out in the safari tour too and that's why it's closed.
there's a reason harold never leaves the bungalows. there's a reason henry is so adamant on keeping you inside. there's a reason small animals are constantly invading the resort. they don't want to be eaten, they don't want to die. please let them stay in the water.

you have two jobs! catch the creatures- you can do so by feeding them (trading in) leftover fruits and stuff, maybe even resort chips in exchange for netting/traps. you also have to replant bits of the forest the creatures squashed/burned down/something, hence the seedlings! you'll get rewards for doing both of these tasks in the form of pets + cool items and save the resort in the process

So far I'm loving this event. It isn't very crazy! I love the natural looking pets and their colors. I haven't been the biggest fan of the last few events honestly, namely the candy event and the space event, but I'm really digging this jungle one. I love tribal themes and the rainforests have a special place in my heart. The token, although many, are super adorable. I want to spend them and keep them at the same time. S
