2018 Summer Event: Casual Chat

sorry to ask if it's annoying but what actually happened last year that got out of hand? i wasn't here in the summer event of 2017 so i am so confused.

i wasn’t very active on the summer event 2017 chat event in the middle and later parts of the event, but basically what happened is that the sacrifice jokes got too out of hand and it was making the mod(s) uncomfortable. that’s all i know of it, anyhow. the chat thread was temporarily locked because of it.

Oh no! I was pretty active last year, but I wasn't online then- that sounds terrible! We should probably chill a bit more this year though, thats seriously Not Cool

I hate to sound preachy, but if we get murder-y again this year, we should maybe
- not target specific mods.
- stop if someone gets uncomfortable
- keep it down and not flood the chat, maybe make a new thread
- not be graphic

i can’t wait until we really get into the event this year, and then i can bring back those stupid meme drawings i did last year for the summer event. drawing those terrible things was one of my favorite memoirs from the 2017 summer event.

i also can’t wait until we get into the storyline! last year’s mystery was really entertaining. the entire chicken smoothie community turned into mini sherlocks :”D
