I can see them using these lines for hummingbirds or kookaburra

Ok, but...birds of paradise translate really well onto the chicken linearts. I'd love a rooster based on a lesser bird-of-paradise, or maybe a king-of-saxony hen.
Or a superb lyrebird rooster, for that matter
And don't get me started on how a lineart edit similar to the turkey chicken from 2014 would work super well for peacock-pheasants
Bwolves are so good for bird designs, too <3 (Looking at my favourite litter here...)
Look, I just love birds, okay?

I adore the coati dogs we got today c:
The other month I was at a zoo and a keeper was walking a south american coati around on a harness, gotta love the ridiculously long tail :D

I can't tell you how happy I am to see a white nosed coati. I volunteered at my local Zoo for summer and it was for Native Texas species that were no longer in the area. And yes Texas Southern tip used to have these animals. We had one that was for educational programs named Fozzy. One of the very first things I would do in the mornings would I would go Harvest quail eggs and feed them to him.
Fun fact the males used to be considered a different species. The red coats and solitary lifestyle lead researchers to believe that theory. But then it was eventually discovered that the males were walking around small groups of females. The only time they had interaction was during breeding. And let me tell you the babies are so freaking cute.

My mom had a bird once, but she had to give it to the zoo (I forgot why

) It is actually still alive and at the Niabi zoo which is far enough off that I can say what it is. The birds name was Baby and was a cockatoo! If you ever decide to go the the Niabi zoo (Probs not X3 it isn't the most popular zoo (Unless a special event goes on).... then there are two cockatoos there and one is Baby X3. I hope there are gonna be cockatoos
