is there a red AND pink tribal set? I'm confused by the outcome thread

(Note that it's random which wigs you get.)

oh I thought there was both a red and pink set, the pink set is labelled as red oops

It won't appear on the bottom of your first "my posts" page^^
Other than that, though, you can search for it pretty much anywhere. If you want to cut down the time it takes to find banners, I'd recommend checking one or two short pages over and over.
Personally I think this one is practical:
trades/findpartner.php
Just click the "find a partner" link over and over, you won't even need to scroll to see if the banner is on the page.^^

so...I just clicked one of the banners and instead of receiving an item, I received the message of ’That release could not be found, please go back and try again.’ afterwards the banner counter started up again...I’m not sure if I got an event token or not, or as to why this message appeared.

That usually means you double-clicked the banner by accident. You did get a token, the site just got a bit confused.

if i miss clicking the banner will i still get an item, or will i have to wait for it to show up again? i always refresh pages too fast for stuff like this lol

You have to click a banner to get a token, if you don't click them they'll just keep showing up till you do ^^
