Shattered tried to leap out of the way, but snow sprayed his face. Pretending to look angry he walked away. But stopping just at the edge of the clearing, he whipped around, and came running at full speed. A few feet away from foxpaw, he leapt straight up in the air, and landed on a pile of snow. His impact made snow spray Foxpaw's face. The he sat down, still feeling uneasy, but in spite of himself, he laughed at the now snowy figure of Foxpaw.

"Dunno." he replied solemnly. Getting up he padded to the fresh kill pile, grabbed 2 mice, and padded back to Foxpaw, throwing one to her and sitting down to eat the other for himself. Well, this is awkward...... He thought, devouring his mouse in a few hungry bites.
