I think they'd be the same tbh! Alteans are, essentially, Voltron's version of a magical species (tho they call it alchemy when its actually magic lol). I'm sure everyone has some amount of quintessence in them, its just that Alteans seem to have a much higher volume of it. Its sorta like magic levels in HP for comparison.

I feel like its gonna be night really soon tbh? and omg yes, this town definitely has a high rate of older people in it LOL

squigly, filia, and even cerebella will go mad with all of the old folks tbh- being called "kiddo" will be at an all time high-
the parasite will also go mad not knowing what alteans are and why they don't recognize em, they're as old as time after all. to them, they're just elves but weird.

I'll probably have Solomon react to Alteans the same as he would mages of varying power levels. Less magically inclined Alteans would probably be a bit harder for him to detect, though. I'm assuming that Lotor and Azukita would fall on the low end of the magic scale, Coran in the middle, and Allura as high end (if she ever gets picked up)? Feel free to correct me though.

I like how Solomon is the baby of the old people group. Turns out that being the oldest human well, technically he's a spirit and not a human but shhh doesn't mean too much when there's aliens and demons running around.

Also, since Tonic and Afflated haven't responded in... A while.. I can totes have Waver go bump into someone else. Lotor, Erion, Rin, or any other open chars, I'm not too picky. But I have trouble picking because I'm an indecisive dork.

Azu's somewhere in the middle or higher! He's still being developed (rping helps me develop my ocs lol). I haven't decided if he's a sacred Altean or not yet ;u; Coran's is pretty low on the scale right now, because he hasn't had his elemental ability I gave him for this RP unlocked, but after that he'd be in the middle... possibly. He could end up staying relatively low! I'm not entirely sure about Lotor? He was able to access Oriande like Allura in canon. I imagine sacred Alteans in general would be higher-tier mages.

LOL poor Solomon. Not only does he have to deal with being the youngest of the few who are thousands of years old, everyone else are probably like babies in his eyes. Coran definitely won't like being called kid and might try to pick a fight if he's irritated enough
