Abner watched as the male's muscles beneath his coat in what was obviously an attempt to run off. It was futile though, they were too close to each other and what the cane corse lacked in speed he made up for in strength which meant a lunge in such a short distance was more effective than a sprint. Front paws outstretched and teeth bared as he reached outwards for the male in order to tackle him to the ground and drag him back to camp.

Nova awoke to the sound of dogs talking nearby. She stretched her long feathered legs out and drowsily got up. “Ugh, I need to wake up!” she thought, as she slowly began to trot away from the clearing of scattered rocks and boulders that her pack called “camp”. Nova eventually reached a small freshwater pond near the outskirts of the packs territory. She liked to come here early in the morning and watch the sunrise over the backdrop of the pond and the towering redwood trees that surround most of the territory but today she was a little late. She dipped her head down so that the front part of her muzzle was submerged in the water so that she could drink. The water tasted fresh and was clean thanks to the mountain run offs roughly 45 miles north of where she is now.

Aris woke up to the sound of birds chirping high up in the tree branches of the redwoods above him. “Which one of you little devils woke me up early?” he quietly grumbled as he looked up towards the branches. Aris wasn’t isn’t much of a morning person and pretty much everyone knew that if he said something mean in the morning just to brush it off because he meant nothing by it. He let out a yawn and rolled over onto his left side and then set his paws down in an effort to get up. He trotted over to where a group of dogs were talking. One looked like an adolescent and the others he recognized as some of his fellow hunters. “ Hello everyone!” he said with a big toothy grin on his face, “where is the rest of the pack this morning?”

The large 4 month old turned at the sound of a new voice, the smell was familiar so she relaxed. Her community was growing everyday so she made it her mission to try and learn every dog's name. Cookie smiled at the male and nodded in his direction "Good morning..." she trailed off not quite sure of his name...but she definitely knew she's seen him on the grounds before. Cookie sat on her paws, leaning to the side to adjust her ever growing weight. She felt like a giant compared to some of the dogs in her pack, and from the whispers shes heard floating around she was expected to grow much taller and larger.

The wolfhound's eyes crinkled in a smile as Cookie caught his attention. "Hello, little'un," he greeted lightly, "It seems like you've been workin' on your words." Harley's always had a soft spot for pups, and the little great dane was no exception. Especially because he knew she would be almost as big as him one day. He turned his head to Aris as the male trotted up, and greeted him before standing and stretching out his long limbs. "Ah, I imagine they're out and about, having fun no doubt," he said, to answer the jämthund's question.

Cookie beamed in pride at Harley's compliment. It was true, there was only her and one other pup in the pack and although they both were a half a month apart from eachother Cookie wanted to be an example for the Husky pup, so she tried to practice her vocabulary and remembering her pack member's names. Choosing to let the adults converse the puppy laid on her side, the day was still early but yet she felt constantly so tired. She knew a few members were out hunting, including her Alpha. Cookie couldn't deny that she was hungry, puppies are constantly growing.

Lunar was waiting in a thicket about 40 metres away. She'd watched the whole chase and chat work out but knew it wouldn't end the way Abner wanted it to. And, sure enough, the loner ran. It didn't take them long to make 30 metres. Then 40. She watched intently, a rabbit hanging in her jaws (a quick catch while the two boys played tag).

Only then did another dog approach, surprising Thor with how 'popular' he was this mornin. "Sorry t'wake your beauty sleep, Aris." He snickered as he nodded politely to them. "Ah know that some went out 'er somethin'."

His ears perked up when he saw Akira exit her den, his eyes instantly snapping to the den behind her as if waiting for Nanuuk to appear behind her. Dante had always been protective over the two dogs after meeting. His blue gaze snapped over to the dwindling prey pile, and after a moments hesitation, Dante darted over and picked up a well-fed pigeon. With a slightly wagging tail, he padded over to Akira and dropped he bird at her paws, and nudged it towards her.

That wasn't what I meant but... okay. She thought as she picked up the fawn by the scruff of its neck, before begging to drag their catch back to camp. Hmm this would probably go faster if I carried it on my back, though it'd a be a pain. And I'd have to clean blood out of my coat. She paused, then slowly began to maneuver the fawn across her back groaning softly as it's weight settled on her back and spine. Any bigger and I might just break my back. Snorting Teja, continued to pad back to camp completely forgetting about Kasiyah, her mind focused on getting the fawn back to camp.
