My nana used to make cookies like this, only sandwich cookies with jam in the middle(top cookie had a heart shaped or round hole to see the jam) and powdered sugar on top. We called them lindsor tarts or something like that. So this baby is very nostalgic for me.

I don't know if these were intended to have a "theme" or not, but I think of certain Art Movements when I look at these. Like Bauhaus or Contemporary art.

But wouldn't stained glass designs have that thick black line of adhesive in between the shards? Then again, maybe it wasn't intended to be that technical ahaha so yeah that's another great idea~
