Ahh that's exciting!
I know I was super nervous to swab since I didn't want to mess it up.
She’s been swabbed! We’re going to ship it off sometime soon.
I think I got enough saliva... I hope so, anyway. She wasn’t very cooperative but we spent at least a minute with the swab in her cheek pouch. In intervals, however haha.

Happy Gotcha Day to my Chloe!!!
I was hoping to do more with her today but I'm in too much pain. I have some Dogsters ice cream I'll give to her later. I have her the puzzle toy I had for her an she's enjoying that. I also made a donation to the rescue I adopted her from.

It depends on how often/how much you give. Once or twice a year it's okay, but if it was something you wanted to give frequently I would personally pass. Since Oppie is on a weight loss program I'd consider making your own doggie pupsicles. You could use low sodium broth or coconut water and put in chunks of meat, berries, or even some of his own kibble. Just pour in an ice cube tray and freeze.

Ah okay. Yeah, I think once a year as a birthday treat would be okay. Also there are dog friendly ice cream recipes online if you feel like making it yourself that would be healthier for him.
