unlike his parents, charlie isn't brave, bold or outgoing-- he's more so closed off and reserved, usual
ly keeping to himself under nearly any circumstance. he is, however-- much like mulan and shang --
stubborn, and will put his foot down if the situation calls for it. with his stubborn behavior comes m
ore of a nurturing side. he cares more for others than he really should, and because of this, he finds
himself offering to comfort people if he feels like they need it-- no matter who they actually are. w
hile he comforts and offers support for others, he does push people away when he is in need of it. i
t often results in him being so stressed out, that he just simply pushes everyone away and excludes
himself from any activities involving interactions-- and more than likely finds a quieter place to sit,
think, and possibly cry. though, when he isn't so stressed out, disappointed, or avoidant he's usually
a kind person. he doesn't enjoy fighting, need it be with swords or close combat, and while this can
be a little disappointing due to his parents status-- he's quite alright with it all. fighting has never b
een his forte, and he had started to figure that no matter how much he worked,, he wasn't going to
get as near as good as his parents are. weapons of any form make him anxious, which had overall le
ad him to being unable to hold anything without shaking, and causing his aim to go way off. his pare
nts don't seem to mind that he takes no interest in combat, but even knowing this, charlie puts fort
h the effort to please them with anything he can do well. because of that, hes a little bit more of a
perfectionist than he may seem. though, as a substitute for combat and whatnot, he dances (and si
ngs on occasion) on his own time, which could generally explain why it is he has the appetite of a h
orse almost twenty four seven.

he isn't known to have a temper, but chances are, th
at if you make him mad at you, he's going to be mad
at absolutely anyone that he crosses paths with.. he
doesn't physically harm anyone, though-- it's either ;
the silent treatment, or he snaps at them. there rea
lly isn't any in between when he's pissed off honestly

dancing is a huge stress reliever, when he's alone. he
doesn't dance for anybody, and treats the talent like
it's his biggest, darkest secret and it absolutely cann
ot be shared. which is why you are more likely to fin
d him crying over the stress instead of him dancing,,

he's fluent in three languages, mandarin (chinese), k
orean and english,. he rarely speaks mandarin at sch
ool, and speaks it more when he's at home, mainly b
ecause that's his family's native language. he does sp
eak snippets of korean if he finds it necessary, which
is honestly a little rare, but overall sticks to english.

he hates it when people assume that "li" is his first n
ame. while, yes, it is before his first name-- the mix
up gets on his nerves a little more than it should. th
is is a bit of the reason why he prefers to go by char
lie over chi-ming. the other half of that reason is be
cause he's suffered too much of people pronouncing
his name wrong, and is just entirely sick of all of it,

he is extremely ticklish right beneath his ribs. this is so
mething else he'd much rather keep to himself,, but he
knows that if someone had ended up tickling him to fig
ure out just hour ticklish he was,, he would not be able
to sustain any laughter once they began to tickle him b
low his ribs. anywhere else, however, he's not as ticklis
h (that he really knows of, doesnt really want to know)

his shiba inu minghao (also known as ming or mingming
) is probably his best friend. he seeks comfort in the ca
nine's soft, plush fur and would prefer hanging out with
him for a day over hanging around another human. he's
had minghao since he was a puppy, and treats him as hi

htest bit, knows for a fact that minghao means everyth
ing to him, and when he says he loves him, it's no joke,

joys waking up, really --and prefers to sleep. he won
t hurt you if you wake him up (and let him get up on
his own) but he wont be too pleased with you, at all

lace where he cares too deeply means he wont get h
