The planet is earth, the year is 3085 and your life is at stake..

On the first page of our story,
The future seemed so bright.

Everything that could possibly go wrong on the planet, has. All technology has collapsed. There are no guns, no noisy cell-phones, no cars, computers, no anything. It's all gone. The planet is actually healing though, now that all the smog and corruption in the air is gone. Everything seems to be going perfectly and just as the humans begin to relax, their peace is shattered. The earth cracks open, allowing demons to roam the planet and spread their disease and cause millions to die. The crack is known as Hell's Gate now and it's a feared place, all the land surrounding the crack is dead and dusty.

Then this thing turned out so evil,
I don't know why I'm still surprised.

Demons can do serious damage and they come in many forms, as well as sizes. There are some that walk on four legs and some that walk on up to eight legs, while others still only walk on two. You're probably wondering what this has to do with you, and that's what I'm here to tell you. You died on the battlefield with a noble heart, though some were corrupt when they died. Your body was bruised and broken and you joined the ranks of either the light-hearted angels, or the dark angels; either way, you're both in the same place and treated as equals. You've been new to the whole angel business for some times, following orders and listening to what your higher officers had to say, but now that's all changed. The angels are going to earth to help the humans.

Even angels have their wicked schemes,
And you take that to new extremes.

Now you're a fully trained soldier of the clouds and you've seen your fair share of demons. You know just about every species or variation and how to kill them in the quickest way possible. You're a tough angel, nothing like the innocent children the people of your time and day think of angels. Most in your ranking have scars littering their bodies and their wings are sometimes scarred or have small bits missing. Some of you are like the angels you once dreamed of; white wings, pure spirits, some aren't anything like you'd ever imagined. Angels have personalities from all over, like humans. Like their personalities vary, so do their wings.

But you'll always be my hero,
Even though you've lost your mind.

Many of your rank are being lost though, either because they've been killed by demons or simply because they got bit. With a bite comes a horrible infection that causes the mind to go wild. Most angels that have been bitten usually end up killing two or three comrades before they're discovered and finally killed. Others, however, scream and cry for a quick death before they can cause any damage because they can feel the infection coursing through their veins. No one's sure how this disease came along, before if you were bit by a demon, you'd have a few scars to show off, nothing more. Now a simple bite means so much more.

It's worse to finish then to start all over and never let it lie,
And as long as I can feel you holding on,
I won't fall even if you said I was wrong.

Most of the angels are gone now and most of the humans are too. You've been locked in a house, planning and plotting on how to get out safely but every plan you make seems to have you dead-ended. Your food supplies are running low and the humans are growing frantic. Everyone's nerves are on edge and at the brink of death; everyone's eyes are finally being opened. All this torture in bringing you closer, and you can feel the tension in the air..

I'm not perfect, but I keep trying,
Cause that's what I said I would do from the start.
I'm not alive if I'm lonely,
So please don't leave.

• I'll only be accepting 6 angels, and 6 humans. I don't care if they're dark angels or light angels. Try to get a variation of wing color, though. That'd be fun. ;D
• No power-playing. Ever.

• You can have no more then ONE angel per person.
• Try not to make all angels emo, depressing people. They've been through a lot, yes, but they've gotta have SOME hope.

• If a human gets into a relationship with an angel, it's basically forbidden! A human must sacrifice her/himself in order to be with said angel. When they do this, they will gain wings and get to live with their angel. :3

Character's Name: Joshua Gregory Sims
Gender: Male.
Age: 24 when he died.
Theme Song: Spinnin' - The Ready Set
Description: Josh always has that "collar" that can be seen in his picture, though he doesn't usually wear black. Most of the time he goes shirtless with some blue jeans that are holed all over and some Vans. Josh's hair is what it looks like, a smooth, short black that only just barely touches his eyes, which are a bright blue. His original hair color is blond, but before Josh died and the technology collapsed he was able to get some hair dye and make it black. Since his death, it's never changed.
Personality: Joshua is actually a rather happy fellow as opposed to his looks. He loves to be the optimist in situation where everyone is in a panic and he tends to over play his happiness, often getting him yelled at by his older, more experienced comrades. Josh gets nervous easily and that usually shows on his face as it turns extremely red due to his pale skin. He also has a bad habit of biting on his lower lip when he gets into situations were he's clueless on how to respond.
History: Josh was always a good kid in school, getting high grades and befriend the good kids. He never did one thing wrong during his childhood and the most he can remember from then is that his parents had high hopes for him, and they were always there to help him. There's no telling why Josh dyed his hair before he died, but it was an impulsive action, signaling that he had finally learned to be his own person.
Other: There is a small star tattooed to his right wrist.

Age: 20

Description: Mimi has two-tone eyes, one being blue, the other brown. Mimi is on the short side, usually coming up to the shoulder of most people.
Personality: Mimi is a very shy, quiet girl, usually keeping to herself, though she won't stay quiet in a corner for to long. Once she's known better, Mimi opens up a little, offering more information about herself then she'd let out in a whole group of people. She's a calm person, yet frightened very easily and extremely emotional. Her face gives away all emotion Mimi is ever hiding and she doesn't have a great poker face.
History: Mimi was pampered as a little kid and before the technology collapse, she got everything she wanted by the snap of a finger. When she was small, she wasn't the sweetest jelly-bean, in fact she was rather rude and arrogant. She hated being told what to do and when to do it. But as she aged, Mimi found that not all things come when you command and that patience is needed in life. So she grew into the person she is today, quiet, collected and calm in most situations. When the demons hit though, she's begun to show a rather frantic side of her.

History: Parents had died very early by demons, she was taken in by the church, has a thirst for vengeance ever since, when she made a living, she picked up some defense skills on the way...

This is a semi-literate and I just don't think you'd be able to keep up with the posts. I know a few people that will be joining and we'll probably be writing 4 or 5 paragraphs as opposed to 3-4 lines.
