I've changed my cosplay (apparently the wig was sent to the wrong address) to a female version of Berserker. Any suggestions for material to make the armour from?

Eva/craft foam is the only material I've had experience making armour from

i'm not sure what the armor looks like, but pepakura is also an option if you've got loads of patience. but i second the Eva/craft foam suggestion.

Don't wanna make this too long heh, but I got a few questions and I feel like this would be the best place to ask haha

1) Have any of you been in Panels for conventions? Because I haven't but I'm in 4 at an upcoming semi-large convention and I don't know what to expect nor what to do to prepare for it? I have pretty bad stage fright and I'm starting to worry im gonna mess stuff up,, if anyone has advice that'd be amazing

2) The next thing is- Does anyone know a good way to style a wig for her? Like should it be dreads or just a shoulder-length pink wig? and if it's dreads how would I do that?!

3) The last thing is, what are some good ways to make Toga's blood-sucking machine? would foam work for the neck scarf thing??

1 I've done two before, and I'm gonna be part of one in october. They are a lot of fun. Just take a breath, and remember that you got this.

3 tubing from a hardware store for all the piping tubes, the needle thing... probably foam, I don't know.

personally i would just go for a shoulder-length pink wig. if you wanted you could style in some softly defined sections, or maybe some type of curls? but i'm not really sure how dreading a wig would work. and don't really recommend.

as for toga, it kind of depends on what kind of texture you want. if you want it more scarf like and soft, you could make it out of a thinker fabric with some sort of core like cardboard and stuffing or styrofoam or something. something to keep its shape whil still being fabric-like. if you don't care if it's soft or not, you could make a ring out of EVA foam (those floor mat things) painted black. you could even coat that with fabric if you wanted. for the teeth, it also depends on what you are going for? i haven't watched the show so i haven't seen them in action, but the first option that comes to mind is craft foam or paper. the canisters around the sides look like regular old aerosol cans wit the spray tips removed, the needle the same but with a needle attatched? and i would do regular old tubing (like the aquarium stuff), for the tubes connecting the needle thing to the main body. plus i'm sure a few people on the internet have already posted some pictures, so i would probably search around and see what style you like and whatnot, and there might even already be a few tutorials if the character is popular if you search hard enough!
