Shayta glanced out of the window absent-mindedly, noting the cold gray drizzle. She was more focused on map in front of her. Most of Lockhaven had been called together, and as such, there were more guardmice in the city than she could ever remember seeing. Shayta released the map and is closed with a loud snap. She placed her head on her paw and sighed softly. The temprary matriach had said patrols would be assigned soon, but she wasn't sure if she was going or not. She hoped so.

The male mouse walked alone in the town of Lockhaven with many unknown faces passing him. He was bord out of his mind and every one seemed to be busy. He came close to the Library, and through the window, he could see the Librarian working. He smirked, this was the one that was old and cranky. She espacially didn't like him, so he went ahead in.

Shayta heard a slight noise, and she glanced up curiously. A dim shape moved at the far end of the library. the white mouse squinted, trying to make it out. She caught a glimpse of something shiny - earrings. Must be Grant, then. Shayta got to her paws and replaced the map before heading towards her fellow Guardmouse, treading softly on the stone floor. The librarian tened to get grumpy if you made too much noise.

As the Librarian glared at him, he hit a flower vase with his tail on purpose. He only hit it light enough to where it would shake, but not fall, he didn't want to have to pay for anything. He smirked to see her reaction. Though Grant didn't want to seem as if he was staring, he looked up at another mouse approaching him. As the small figure passed through better lighting her realised it was Shayta.

Shayta narrowed her eyes in disapproval as she saw Grant hit the vase with his tail. That was one of her favorite vases. Thankfully, it didn't break. The white mouse stopped a couple of feet away from him, pretending to search through the shelves in front of her. "Hello, Grant."
