Summer event ideas!

so while we're still waiting for ideas to flow in, ive been focusing my efforts on figuring out when it's most likely to start and how long it's likely to last, here's what i found.

starting day:
average day: july 16th
range: 14th-25th(11 day range)

length:
overall average: 11 day
no outlier average: 9 days
range: 6-21 days(15 day range)

It seems like it would last an entire month or so. Due to players vacationing away from cs. But besides that, the range seems correct

usually they last from 1-2 weeks, which is a quote im pulling right from tess on one of the news blogs about the summer event in 2015.
the quote: "avian and totoro's summer vacation... usually lasts around 1-2 weeks."

the 21 day event was an extreme outlier, which was why i did a calculation without it.

those calculations were pulled from the exact dates of the beginnings and endings of all previous summer events. it's likely the dates and time length will fall within those ranges. the summer event has never lasted an entire month, the longest being 21 days (the Egypt event of 2014), the second longest(s) only being 12 days. hope that all makes sense (also sorry, i'm friends with blackpearl)

eee bb talk calculations to me ;) (lol, yes, we worked together on figuring this out, while i did pull the dates, calculations, etc, we are talking on the phone together so if one of us worked really hard on something, the other probably still knows most of the fleshed out facts about that certain thing.)

I think it would be cool to see a farming event, like more cows are released and sheep and stuff like that, and then items like tractors and hay bales and farm stands. Since it’s almost harvest time for a lot of crops

i drempt it turned out to be a "shrunken adventure" shrunk down to the kind of "hey this cattipiller is the size of a car "


a haunted house/ghost town could be cool

something about robots or thought "robots verses dinosaurs" would be funny

or because we had a candy event, make a fruit and veggies one

I had others but forgot them nothing i can say or think of has not been said before. and a "go inside a giant beast" is gross, and the trope of "if you have an animal as big as an ocean cruse liner, it is going to be hollow, that is just how physics work" rubs me the wrong way

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I would be disappointed with a Jungle/Safari event. I'm sure the story would be fun, and we'd get some cool items, but the pet designs would be wild animal themed. We have so many already, and I guess I'd prefer to see not so common designs. If we had brand new animal designs (like elephants) instead of the usual tigers and lions, that would be cool. c:

unless the jungle one had dinosaurs, and an ancient temple, and robots.

Summer event is always my favorite thing on Chicken Smoothie–– whatever it is, I'm sure it will be awesome!!! <3

I'm actually kinda hoping it will start later like last year (~July 22nd) because I'm gonna be without internet connection all week next week. I don't wanna miss any of it!!!

I was debating posting a long list of places we should hold off on visiting. But decided against it. Though one I was contemplating to add to that list was the nature/safari one. As was mentioned above, the reason was that we already have a bunch of natural pets. So they would have to be lots of new species (unlikely), some really good edits, and some rather creative animal themed/travel items. Its still doable though. Just alot of work involved. Oh and hope we don't go to another fish themed area since we have plenty of them atm (plus we went there twice in 10 years).
