GONE 1X1 with Light Bringer

[Piera]

"Oh, ummm.." Duck thought for a moment. "We could say he wasn't fully dead and that...we somehow took him to Lana?" Duck knew that didn't sound super believable but neither did saying a green monster in a cave brought him back to life.

[Light Bringer]

"Two problems with that. One, the guards saw me snap his neck. No way he could have survived that. Two, I highly doubt that people would believe that we managed to sneak into Perdido Beach with a half dead body and got Lana to heal us without anyone from the town noticing."

[Piera]

"I didn't say it was a good idea.." Duck pouted. "I'm not really sure what to tell everyone. I doubt they would believe the truth or that Rowan spontaneously healed hinself. Well...we could say that his power might of fixed his neck? Who's to say his power can't do that? Thick skin could possibly mean thicker bones."

[Light Bringer]

Drake considered it for a moment. "Yeah, I suppose that could work."

[Piera]

"Well do you have a better idea Drakey?"

[Light Bringer]

Drake shook his head. "Honestly, I'd have just told the truth and hoped for the best but I think we both know that wouldn't have ended well."

[Piera]

"No one would have believed that. Even Howard didn't believe you, I wonder what his reaction will be."

[Light Bringer]

"Guess it's about time we found out." Drake said, looking at the car as they approached it.

[Piera]

Howard didn't react much. He was kinda surprised that they were beinging the body back out.

[Light Bringer]

"I guess we can't just throw him back in the boot, huh?" Drake asked, looking over at Duck.
