positive traits ‣ Kara is very protective of pups and anyone younger than her. She has strong maternal instincts and is extremely kind. Being a mix of german shepard, she is decently fast and has a strong bite.
negative traits ‣ She does not trust easily, it takes a while for her to warm up to anyone (unless it is a pup).She often feels bad for those infected with the virus, and will try to remove the parasite if possible. Even if it's not, it would be difficult for her to kill any other dog.

In the past, her and her brother were very close together, both being used as police dogs. The two were owned by a detective, and were used to find drugs. Before though, they were raised by a breeder in Kentucky. Her brother, Connor, had a good nose and was very intelligent. The person who adopted them was a police officer at a police station nearby, who eventually became a detective on the drug case. The first time Kara was introduced to the virus, she was being taken on a walk by her owner for exercise. Only about ten minutes into the walk, Connor and her walked past an alley, her brother immediately concerned about the scent of rotting flesh he'd picked up. Picking up on this, their caretaker took them back, and they came across a horrific sight. It was a pitbull mix brutally mauling another dog. Their owner, detective Jon, immediately called in the case and told the station of what they'd come across. (If you want more, ask x3)
