- As the trotting of many hooves fills the stadium, you feel your heart start to pound in rhythm. The adrenaline builds, and you know it is time.
A large, black stallion, with a gloriously long tail and a perfectly cropped mane approaches you, blocking your path, and lets out a deep rumble in his chest.
“Welcome, challenger. You are about to enter The Arena, where you will face nine of your fellows in a test of your strength, power and determination. Step up, soldier, and show them what you are made of.”
And with a small bow of his head, he moves to the side, allowing you to pass unhindered.
The light at the end of the tunnel beckons you, the thunder ahead coursing through your body.
This is The Arena, and now is the time to prove yourself!

- Stallions can enter gladiator-type battles; up to ten participants may enter at a time, and an rng will decide the first, second, and third place winners. Those winners will get a respective prize, but may not enter the same horse in any battle/comp again for three days to give the stallion a chance to recover. Stallions who failed their colt test will be able to enter with a disadvantaged roll, and if they win first, second, or third place will have won the right to have their mane cropped, and may unlock the other half of their breeding slots.
✦ You may only enter one stallion per battle.
✧ An RNG will determine who are the top three placeholders.
✦ The three top-placing stallions may not enter a comp again for the next three cycles, to give them a chance to recover.
Example: Caleb places first, then he has to wait 3 cycles before he can enter again. So he can enter again on the 4th cycle.
✧ If your uncropped colt fails their colt test, but then places in The Arena, they have won their right to a mane crop, and will receive their additional 5 breeding slots.
✦ The Arena will be rolled weekly (every sunday) or, when I get the chance, whenever all slots are filled up.
