Demand depends on who you trade with. Some may value malk pets more, but some might not want to trade for them because they dislike spiders. I've never had issues trading for spiders fairly

They actually have a reputation as having fairly low demand, as many people don't like/want spiders. Personally, I've always been able to trade them fairly as there are a few collectors out there. You're unlikely to get much in the way of overpay.
