she half expected a nasty response, but was happy with heidi's. "well..my owner thought fighting dogs for a living was fun." kehlani said, "they recently got caught and are in jail, and now i'm here." the kai ken finished. she never really told this to many dogs.

>> "the police found out that my owner wasn't taking care of me, so i was taken here." heidi spoke. "i never liked her anyway..."

[dxrmon]

"im sorry. i liked my owner before all of it." the kai ken said. she hoped to get to know heidi more.

[jtag]

>> "why did your owner start making you fight?" heidi asked, tilting her head some.

[dxrmon]

"money mostly, even though i wasn't the best he still got a lot of money from me." she said bluntly. she lost a couple of fights, her fur covers up most of the fighting scars though.

>> "some humans can be really stupid..." heidi mumbled quietly, thinking about her past owner.

[dxrmon]

"mhm..all humans are pretty stupid." she also mumbled, laying her head down and slowly drifting off to sleep. it was already dark outside.

>> heidi yawned and scratched her ear. she usually went to bed at this time so she curled up in her bed. "good night..." she mumbled, and closed her eyes. in just a few minutes, the sheepdog was asleep.

she faintly heard goodnight from heidi, "goodnight.." she mumbled back, her eyelids falling and she fell asleep. (time skip) the kai ken woke up to a human opening her cage and filling the bowls with food and water. this scared her at first, she jumped back but the human reassured her that she was ok. kehlani found no sense of safety in their words, laying back down as they closed the cage. "good morning." kehlani said, wondering if heidi was up.
