Opal blinked at the Arabian herd. "Well...I'm just glad Pine isn't lost and in potential danger" she murmured peering at the filly who seemed to be in her own little world.

yes well... I’m glad too she said sounding a tiny bit disappointed, she didn’t like being a mother at all and if Pine could just go away then Ivy could leave her parents Storm and Lucky again.

Opal frowned at the mare's lack of authority and concern. She narrowed her eyes watching the Arabian's body language closely..how could this mare not care about her own foal? "So it seems you are..." she commented with a soft snort. She glanced at Scout watching him closely for any sign of interaction, where did Morning Breeze run off too?

Ivy
seems who is what? she asked suspiciously, she stood tall and confident which made Storm and Lucky glare even more, Pine however was still dreaming but Ivy just struck out a front hoof which hit Pine making her jump although she wasn’t even bruised Pine shuffled her hooves wishing she could go play but she knew Storm and Lucky would stop her, Ivy wouldn’t take any notice.

Opal stood in disbelief at the mares attitude. She took a few steps forward, ears pinned back and legs splayed protectively over Scout. "So it seems you are relieved." she answered back carefully watching the young filly. It was as if Pine was terrified of her own mother, what on Earth did this mare do to make her own flesh and blood feel that way?

Pine
Pine dares to take a few steps away from the older horses but Storm got in front nearly knocking Ivy over with his sudden movement, Ivy spun and kicked him hard on his side and Storm side stepped backing away, Lucky hurried to his side but Pine stayed were she was, Ivy pinned her ears back at Storm and Lucky and swished her tail angirily although not at the flies as her kick had scared them away she was angry at her parents and foal, Pine was frozen with fear although she didn’t look at all surprised. Lucky turned and galloped away but her former mate Storm didn’t leave, the kick had left him dazed and breathless, Ivy watched Lucky gallop away well then... she began turning back to the other horses.

Opal gaped in shock and at the blatant disrespect this mare had for her sire and dam. She would have given anything to have her parents back with her. The mare had no words, she leaned back against Scout as If she'd tumble without his support. Opal glanced at Pine and felt her heart break, what else happened behind closed quarters? Did Ivy beat her? "Perhaps we should take our leave" she murmured hesitantly not wanting further confrontation.

Pine
Pine looked desperately at Opal, obviously begging for help, Storm turned to go but stopped and Lucky came trailing back, Pine swished her tail, she wanted to escape.

Opal glanced warily at the hoard, eyes flickering between Pine and Ivy. "Pine..are you alright?" she asked the filly perhaps hinting at a more deeper evaluation on her state of being. "Its alright..you needn't be afraid" The mare smiled.
