“Be quiet Alessa. I can be independent if I want. I’m going alone. You don’t even know how to hold a baby.” She muttered and put on her shoes and started to walk out. There was a snow storm going on but Alessa didn’t want the child so she started walking through the knee high snow.

Alessa rolled her eyes. "As if. You haven't prove to be independent. If you were, why am I still here looking after you?" She knew she was being mean, but she did not like the way Cara had talked to her.

“I never asked you to be here. But I love you and we got engaged. Do you want to come?” She asked as the snow became up to her waist.

Alessa bit her lip. She stared at the ground, angry at herself now. She had excepted Cara to be mad at her, but she wasn't. At least, she wasn't acting like it. And Alessa didn't deserve that. She followed Cara out of the building, not meeting her eyes.

“Why can’t we wait until the snow dies down. I’ll watch the baby. You can leave it all to me.” She whispered and tried to stop shaking.

"Okay," she said quietly, not arguing since she noticed Cara shaking. She took Cara's shoulder and led her back to the building.

Cara was soaked. She was shivering bad as she walked inside. She got changed before feeding the child. She was still shaking.

Alessa made sure that the room Cara was in was warmed from the heater. She wrapped a blanket around Cara's shoulders and rubbed her back.

"I'm sorry that I made you let me keep the child for a few days. I'm just worried about my own safety." She murmured and looked at the infant.

"No, don't worry about it," she sighed. "You seem to know what you're doing, and I don't want you to get ill."
