Jenna nodded, "Yeah, it was a trip." she said with a grin when she saw he was okay before she took off again, laughing to herself a little. Mark groaned and smiled, he elbowed Laker, you really are falling for her." he teased as he took off after Jenna with a smile, he was glad he had hung back, the two were gettin along so well.

Laker rolled his eyes jokingly, elbowing Mark back. "So?" He joked, running after Jenna as well. He tapped her shoulder when he caught up to her, winking before running further away from them. He laughed, enjoying the run. He looked back, an evil grin on his face and he turned away and ran faster

Jenna laughed and grinned as she watched him, she loved how he was still competitive, she focused on running once more and picked up her pace, Mark stayed behind, running leisurely so that the two could have some quality time.

Laker smirked, slowing down so he was right next to Jenna. "Enjoying your run?" He asked, smiling as he turned his head back to see Mark, who seemed to be going slow on purpose. He stuck his tongue out at him, laughing silently. He quickly looked forward so he didn't fall like Jenna did before.

Jenna chuckled, "I am, other then falling on you." she said as she ran by his side, "I usually al more graceful I swear, but thanks for catching me." she said as she stayed by his side and looked ahead, "I have missed this, being with you, it's just kind of weird since you pretty much don't know me."

"Well yeah, other than that." He mused, "And no problem." He then listened to her speak, his face having a frown that wasn't noticeable. "I wish I could've remembered everything after the accident, especially you." He said, rubbing the back of his neck slightly. Though, he smiled, at least glad that they were having fun.

"Yeah, but it can't be helped." she said as she ran, "Do you want me to tell you what happened, that night?" she asked as she looked over at him a moment before back ahead as they ran on the trail, going through a more forested part now, where the birds were chirping and it was much cooler in the shade.

Laker nodded, "Sure." He smiled. "Would you like to stop?" He asked, "It could be better in the shade." He added, looking down as he ran, seeing that there werent any rocks or sticks in his way. He glanced back behind them, wanting to see if Mark was still there or not. He enjoyed the change of scenery as more trees came into view.

"Uh, sure." she said as she headed over to a little picnic area with him, she sat down and looked back for Mark as well, seeing him on his cellphone a little ways back on the trail. She smiled over at Laker a little, "We were in our apartment, I was making us a romantic dinner when I heard the news come on... I went to see what it was, and it was a bulletin on an attack in Afghanistan. It had already set you on edge and you wanted to go for a run. And I let you, I should have went with you, you were hit by a man running a red light." she said softly as she looked at her hands, "I was so scared I was going to lose you."

Laker closed his eyes for a moment before opening the to look at her. "I'm alive, so that is the best part." He chuckled. He smiled to her, hoping she didn't feel sad about talking about what happened. He took her hand, holding it softly. He sighed, already imagining the description she gave him.
