"Welcome to the Registration Desk"

We want you to help our research grow, and since you are here I assume you want to help us as well! All I need you to do is fill out this paper work! Once you are done, you will be registered into our system and will be given permission to adopt your first Hybrid! However, be sure to stop by the Security Office to understand the rules and regulations regarding this system to avoid potential penalties.

Pre-Requirements to Registration:
Have a Username!
Have a paddock/system of keeping track of your hybrids and their progress set up! (Names are preferred, but optional)
Have a favorite dinosaur! (multiple answers are accepted)

Now that you have that form set up just post it below! I will sign you up as soon as I can. However, since your paperwork is turned in, you will be able to register for your first hybrid at the incubators! Just be sure to provide proof of submitting your form for each application until I announce that all forms before a certain date have been placed into the system!

Note: Unnamed Paddocks will be referred to in the system by their serial number

Now! Something you should note is that paddocks have levels which restrict them in terms of the number of hybrids they can obtain and the activities they can participate in. Once you register, your paddock is noted at level 0. You can learn more about the levels of paddocks, what they mean, and how to level up here.

Well hello there! Welcome to the Security Office. Here you can locate the rules and regulations of Vita Nova, and you can also submit a report or complaint.

[Rules/Regulations]

- All members of the company are to be respectful at all times; Staff and Trainers included
- Cs rules and policies are to be respected and followed in accordance to company rules
- By registering and taking part in the company you are agreeing to all terms and conditions
- Do not harass anyone involved in Vita Nova for any reason

- You are free to customize your Hybrids personality, sexuality, etc in the same way you would an OC
- You may not change your Hybrids anatomy or traits
- Scars and small physical changes (missing/chipped tooth, ripped ear, etc.) may only be applied to a Hybrid through the proper request
- No NSFW, controversially offensive, or any other material deemed unsafe for children is permitted
- You may create AU's for your Hybrids, but respect others AU's as well
- The biological gender of a Hybrid can only be Male or Female and is locked upon "hatching"

- Vita Nova hybrids are a closed species. While you can make your own independent dinosaur hybrid, you may not use anything from Vita Nova and hybrids not registered with the company cannot participate in activities hosted by the company. Please also respect the Hybrids that have been made here by not copying the design/body/information of any Hybrid
- All members must abide by the ownership rules and limitations
- Once created you cannot make changes to your Hybrid in terms of design and DNA without the proper items
- Only registered staff members may create Hybrids

- Public threads must receive permission by the Security Office before being posted for community use, though personal threads are fine
- You are in charge or keeping company rules in all posts/art involving Vita Nova Hybrids
- Public threads may have their own rules so long as they do not counter or break company policies

---Adoption/Ownership---

- Hybrid creation registered staff may adopt out hybrids through any style of competition (art, raffle, story, C$, DNA, etc.)
- Do not use other's coding/artwork without permission
- Always be aware of end dates and snipe guards that may be in place

- Hybrids may not be traded for other characters outside of Vita Nova (though trading a Vita Nova Hybrid for a Vita Nova Hybrid is permitted)

- You may adopt any number of Hybrids a month so long as you do not exceed your level limit
- You may only obtain one custom Hybrid every two months
- Should you ever decide you no longer want a Hybrid, you may post it up for public re-adoption, surrender it to the company, or gift it to another registered user.
- You may not readopt a Hybrid that was not sold for any form of currency (ie: if original competition was a raffle, you cannot sell the hybrid for DNA/C$/Points)
- A member may only readopt one hybrid per month
- A member may only gift one hybrid per month
- A member may only receive one gift hybrid per month

- If multiple accounts are caught being used, all will be banned and all Hybrids owned will be revoked and readopted promptly

- We currently do not allow Vita Nova Hybrid designs to be transferred to another species - open, closed, or OC

[Staff Rules]

--General--

- All potential staff members must be active on CS for a minimum of 5 months before being considered for the position

--Creation--

- Non-Event Hybrids cannot be a mixture of more than 2 dinosaurs
- Hybrids must have at least 1 modern animal within their DNA with traits of said animal showing physically, but cannot be a mixture of more than 2 modern animals.
- Hybrid competitions must be run and judged fairly and with as little bias as possible
- Hybrid competitions must be judged within one month of the end date
- Follow creations genetic rules with all Hybrids
- You must be an active member of the staff for one month before receiving permission to create custom Hybrids for yourself
- You may only create a custom Hybrid once every 10 public Hybrids made
- Vita Nova Creation Staff must create at least 2 Hybrids a month that are not customs to be considered active
- The competition hosted, end date (so long as it does not exceed limit), and snipe guards put into place for a Hybrid under adoption are up to you
- No end date may be more than three months after the date the adopt was posted. This includes extensions.

- Artists will be hired for specific rolls (creation or hatchery). After two months of active work, the artist may request to work multiple rolls - if they would like
- Artists will receive 100 DNA per active roll each month

--Archivists--

- Be honest in all your work
- You must update twenty accounts in one month to be considered active (unless there are less than twenty accounts to be updated within the month)
- For every fifty accounts updated you will earn 100 DNA
- Certain archivists will be assigned certain position. After one month, if you feel up for it, you may request to work in multiple positions.
- An archivist will be paid 100 DNA per active position each month

[Filing Reports]

If you see someone breaking the rules, please report it to the owner or a staff member! If someone is breaking CS rules, please report it to the owner/staff member, as well as reporting it to CS mods!

When filing a report, remember that screenshots are highly important!! Things can be deleted, but a screen shot is proof that it was there. Please screenshot the incident and message it, as well as an explanation to what happened.

Sometimes, errors occur in the archives and proof links are needed which may be hard to find. This is why all announcements will be stated in a certain format. Below are the formats we will use. Going to the CS search bar and typing in these lines word for word, inserting your username where needed, should bring up all MYO's, DNA, Gene Splicers, and Hybrids you have won.

DNA
The Currency of Vita Nova

At Vita Nova, DNA is incredibly valuable and sought after! It helps us to bring stronger, healthier Hybrids, and it can even unlock new dinosaurs and modern animals to add to the collection of options!

[How to Earn it]
- DNA can be earned by participating in Digs, Hunting, Fishing, Battling, Events, and even the occasional training run.
- You can treat DNA as a currency, though only with C$, points, Hybrids, and art types. DNA cannot be changed for irl money.
- If you get an egg you do not want, you can sell it to us for DNA.

[How to Use it]
- Vita Nova has two primary shops: The Genetics, and The Evolution
- You can exchange proper DNA amounts for select items in these shops, earning you DNA splicers, MYO's, trait boosters, and more!
- On occasion, a DNA adopt will be posted which will be hosted as an auction with DNA as the currency

- DNA does not expire
- DNA is treated like money. It cannot be used to enhance your hybrids without exchanging it to Vita Nova
- Hybrids of higher levels have better chances of getting more DNA in games than others
- DNA is all recorded here
- There is no limit to how much DNA you can obtain

"Welcome to the Incubator Room"

This is where MYO's are transformed into Hybrids!

[What is an MYO?]
In Vita Nova, an MYO is just a common term for a special permit to request a specific hybrid. There are four ranking MYO's, each having specific restrictions on what you can choose for your hybrid.

[How Do They Work?]
Once you obtain an MYO ticket, visit our [url]Creation Schedule[/url] to find an available creation/artist staff member to create it for you. Note that the staff member will always have a right to reject your request for any reason!

Once your request is made, the staff member will work on your hybrid and post it. It will already be assigned to you, so if you do not like it or want it then you will have to readopt it out.

MYO's can be purchased with DNA at The Evolution, or can be won through events!

Paddocks

Paddocks are essentially a storage section for your hybrids and everything you obtain in this ARPG. It is vital to keep track of everything you earn! Errors can happen, and the only for sure way to ensure you lose nothing is to keep track of it.

The ideal set up for a paddock would be a thread posted in the character storage forums. The first post should have basic information about the paddock. A name, its level, all of that stuff. I recommend storing information about paddocks in the first posts (information like set up, environment, how it runs, lore around it, etc.). That way, each hybrid you earn will not make this information get pushed and shoved around. Another thing I recommend is to have a record of all your obtained items - from MYO's to DNA on the first or second post! Be sure to have links of everything and organize it in a way that works best for you!
