Alyssa's breathing becomes hoarse and shallow. She does not sense the others, Artie and Sterling, enter the room. She is still unconscious and living, although her breathing is shallow. Suddenly, She feels a calming feeling start to fill her mind and body. She knows the exact reason why. Sterling!Alyssa thinks, although she is unable to wake up. Out of no where, She starts to shriek while she is unconscious.The shrieks are high pitched and sound like she is being attacked, but shows no signs of being hurt. The shrieks go on for a few moments, then go back to shallow, hoarse breathing. Her shrieks keep happening every few minutes, but they get worse and worse each time. Alyssa WANTS to wake up, but she can't. She will only wake up when she is meant to wake up.

Raine stood in the garden of the house she has grown accustomed to call her own. For now, she enjoyed the nice weather and reminiscing about her old farmhouse and the horse she used to love. Although it brought sadness to her heart to miss being there, she was much happier and certainly safer here.

"Oh. Ah..." Artie stumbled, wondering what to say or do, because, like Marley, she had no idea what this could mean, "Right now, there's not much we can do but wait for her to wake up. And hopefully it is nothing serious." Artie jumps suddenly when Alyssa starts shrieking, "Okay, uh," she stuttered, "might be serious, but what can we do about it right now?" she sighed, a bit overwhelmed by this current issue, "We just gotta wait, and hope for the best, yeah? And hope that the others will be back soon, dunno where the caretakers are." she shrugged, looking down at Alyssa.

Sterling hardly flinches when Alyssa starts screaming. He just closes his eyes and continues holding her hand; he squeezes it every once in a while, hoping for a squeeze back, but doubts it will come. He feels that his empathy is working on her and ignores the thoughts that tell him the worst of what could happen to just focus on the source that calms him, so that he can calm her.

She was glad to hear the other was fine with going with her to the store. It meant she would have assistance back to her apartment where she could unload her groceries and perhaps invite him in for tea. She had extra tea and cocoa in her shelves, so there was no need to buy more on this trip.
She brightened and grinned back while nodding back
"It is nice to meet you, I am Fortem." The phone spoke up after she again, typed in more for it to speak.
She typed in something else, but was silent for a second while gesturing for him to follow as she began down the sidewalk.
This time with perhaps, a new buddy to talk with? She pressed a button on her phone and it spoke up
"Why dont you tell me about yourself? If you do not mind?" It said in its robotic monotone voice, only adding emphasis for the question at the end

She noticed it was quiet for a little, she felt his hand touch her back. She took in a deep breath when she heard him say that it was important. Jude knew it was, that whys she couldn't leave she didn't have anywhere to run. Biting her lip softly looking around to see if something could be used as a weapon, frowning when she didnt see any. Looking back down at her book when he asked about it, she didn't realize it had started to freeze. "I don't know. It's just a bunch of codes and words. I got it from the library." She said gently with a small smile. She liked unique things, they were of interest to her. Always something different to figure out.

She looked at him now, her smile faded to a dull expression."Please, I dont want you to get hurt. You need to go. I'm fine, trust me." She muttered softly, she didn't understand why he was still there. Shes just one kid, he shouldn't concern himself with just one. One doesn't matter. She wanted to make sure everyone was safe. If this thing only wanted her she would give it out and make him stop if he was going after more that just her. But if it ended up being just her then she would left him take him. She didn't, no she couldn't let anyone get killed because of her.

He gave a small chuckle noting how uncomfortable she was. She registered what he had told her and she seemed upset. Well it was to be expected, Zane was calling her out seeing if she had the fire it took. He knew that he could bring it out, like someone once did for him, even through his fire went out long ago when no one could figure out why his powers had been to uncontrollable. By now everyone at his age basically mastered their powers, or so that's what he heard. He crossed his arms over his chest as he though of what he should say to her. He heard her words, that she could keep up. Well she would need to, no one was going to pick up her slack.

"Find a defender and have them show you the safer places to hunt." He said simply looking around to see if anyone was close by. But no seems to be around. He wondered if she would be caught by a peacekeeper. She didn't seem to know how to act around people with powers. She seemed to new. He tasseled his already tasseled black locks as he again thought. Smiling softly as he touched the table with his hand making it blended into it. He liked just randomly making himself blend. It was the only power that he could control so he liked to use it. "Then gather things, gather a lot. Prove yourself." He said simply, he didn't mean that she hadn't already. Not really looking at her as he raised his hand to look at the texture it took on. She made it this far, he just wanted her to know they don't mess around here. This is people's lives you don't mess with that.

He put his thumb up, then he continued to sip his black coffee. He gently tilted his mask up more, then he took it off to reveal a pretty scarred up face. Despite his face being covered in scars, he had beautiful blue eyes, blonde hair, and pretty pink lips that were almost untouched other than the cut on his lip, though that was more from him biting it than anything. He did, however agree to go to the park with them both. He was ready, but the Black Wolf called to him. It was telling him to never go back as he looked at the mask he had been wearing.

Suddenly, Alyssa wakes up. She feels someone squeeze her hand, so she squeezes Sterling's hand back. Her eyes flutter open. She sits up, fear showing in her eyes. " W - whats going on? I'm scared... " She starts to feel sick, like she is going to throw up. Alyssa groans and rubs her head again, her head hurting only a small bit. She looks around at the three people around her, Marley Artie, and Sterling. " Am I going to be okay? " She asks, her voice trembling. Suddenly, she starts to panic. Alyssa starts to breathe faster, her eyes showing more and more fear each time she breathes. She gets that sick feeling again. She starts to softly cry. " What's wrong with me... " She whispers, tears rolling down her cheeks. Why did it happen to just me? Why not someone else, like a human?

When the pretty face underneath was revealed, he overlooked the scars and oddities completely and appreciated the good qualities."Well if we're going to the park, we should start uh, moving, right?" He gave Nathan his signature look to tell him to stop judging the poor guy. With that, Andrew started to walk out of the cafe. He looked over his shoulder to check if they were following, and then continued to walk down the street and across the block separating them from the park.

Sterling stares down at Alyssa. He feels Marley's presence as she kneels down beside him. He listens to her question and nods, "Yes, I think so." Alyssa's eyes open and Sterling feels relieved, though she is still upset. "Nothing's wrong with you. Nothing's wrong with you at all. Panicking will only make it worse, please try to relax. We don't know what's wrong, but I'm sure we'll figure it out, and it will be okay."

Alyssa bounds off of the couch next to Sterling. She starts to hug him while tears stream down her cheek. " A-are you sure? I - I am so scared... " She whispers, still hugging Sterling. She starts to cry louder and more tears start rolling down her cheeks. Alyssa gets up and rubs her eyes. " I don't feel so good. " She says, wrapping her arms around her stomach. " I hate this.. " She mumbles to herself, still holding her stomach.
