I'm so terribly sorry you lost someone recently, the pain and the feelings are sometimes too much to bear.
I lost someone very close to me last year, so I guess all of that helped me write this,
even though I didn't know, probably unconsciously.
And one thing that scares me the most, is forgetting about them.
But as I said already, there is some hope, there always is.
Even if sometimes it doesn't seem like it.
I'm sure they would want us to be happy.

And no need to apologize at all! This was a huge comp, and there were SO many entries!
This would be a nightmare to judge for me!! And it's so, so nice of you to give some gifts out! ♥

I'm sure you'll have better luck in the future!
Think of this as a learning experience,
since creating characters, drawing and writing are skills, no matter if you win or lose,
you gained some skills! Even if you don't see it now, try returning to your form in 5-8 months,
and you'll see it from a different perspective! At least I do, with my own work, so I hope you will see it too!
Just please, feel proud of yourself, since you actually did something!
And something is better than nothing.

In regards to the gifts....
