Takara is hard-working and loyal, bound and determined to do whatever she has set in her mind to do or die trying. She absolutely loves her work and takes a no-nonsense approach to things, work needs to be completed before there is time to be idle and play. However, she does have a good sense of humor and enjoys brightening anyone's day, even when she can't brighten her own. She's a bit stubborn and does not bend easily, she marches to the beat of her own drum and is reluctant to follow directions or orders from anyone else. She has a bit of an issue with trusting new dogs, so it may take a while before you get to see the softer side of her. She does have a good heart and won't hesitate to help a friend in need. Regardless if she trusts them or if they trust her, she would protect her teammates with her life and always thinks of them before herself.


Born into the life of the sled dogs, Takara has been running since her feet first touched the snow. The team she had been raised with would run along the coast from town to town in between racing seasons, and each time with the help of the call of a certain young dog, the orcas would swim alongside them. Such was the origin of her name, for they felt that she was a treasure to be able to bring forth such beautiful creatures. Such was their belief, though Takara herself mostly thought of them as her friends and enjoyed listening to their calls. With each passing race and training session, Takara grew into quite the talented and gifted runner. She was built more along the line of speed, but she had more than enough strength and endurance that no matter where they placed her, she did well. With her age and experience she kept the spot as the lead until she was sold to her current musher and placed as a team dog to assess her abilities. Though she hadn't spent as much time on the team some of the others, Takara is very upset by the loss, especially when she knows that had she been at the lead, it would not have happened. The wilderness isn't so strange to her, though this particular terrain is unfamiliar. She has experience with hunting for her own food, so it's not so much that that worries her. Though the fact that with everyone at odds and uneasy with the loss of their musher and being out here on their own, she wonders if they'll be able to pull together and survive as a team. Regardless, she is willing to be there in any way she can and is determined to not fail them.

I pumped out some art then studied for my science test during class, went to my brother's music performance and then pranked my friend big time. XD I'll get it done tomorrow and hopefully get a post up too.
