How did they catch this parasite?/where did it originate?: jac was on a school trip in italy and saw a cute little pomeranian! she was determined to pet it, and she followed it around the city and got separated from her tour group. she ended up in an alley in the harsh part of town, and a gang approached her and tranq’d her. ultimately, she was only mugged, but the needle they tranquilized her with was unclean, and it transmitted the parasite to her. needless to say, it was the most interesting trip jac ever had!
