Malia nodded and was quiet for a moment. "Just one leg, right? His other one is fine?" she asked, biting her lip.
"Oh," he said, looking away. "Just that, you two seemed close and he needs someone to support him right now..." His head snapped up when he heard a vehicle approaching then and he immediately tensed up. His hand went to one of his knives, and he swung off of Admiral, never losing eye contact with the vehicle. It was the same one that Erin and the others had been driving. He narrowed his eyes when he saw Kieran get out and approach them. He glanced at Kieran's hands that were in the air, noting that one of them was empty and the other held a bag. He took a step back when he threw the back at their feet, and he glanced down at it before looking back at Kieran. His eyes softened a bit when he saw him kneeling down. He looked down at the bag and cautiously nudged it with his foot. When nothing exploded, he crouched down and opened it, trusting that River was keeping her bow in Kieran in case he tried something. He found medical supplies in the bag, something that they really needed. He made sure that there were no hidden compartments and no explosives or anything, before standing up and putting the bag on his shoulder. "If you have any weapons on you, put them on the ground, away from you," he told him. He took a step forward after looking at the vehicle, making sure that there was no one else in it. It didn't seem like Kieran was here to hurt them, but he couldn't know for sure. He could just be a really good actor. He cautiously approached Kieran and made sure that he had no weapons on him. He glanced back at River for a second, then at the vehicle, suggesting that she check the vehicle. Cert took Kieran's arm and helped him up. "If you want our help, I suggest you explain yourself---without lying," he said, standing in front of Kieran and looking at him in the eye. He knew the basics of telling when someone was lying, but he wasn't an expert at it.
