Coalstar frowned slightly when he awoke to Icepelt leaving, although he understood.
He sat up walking out of his den to go eat and watch the sunrise, he picked up a hare sitting outside his den having a slight view into the medicine cat den

He kept himself rather busy for the time being until other cats began to wake up, pawing at herbs and trying to organize the rest that he forgot about from the day before. Occasionally he'd peek outside his den and focus his attention on Coalstar, but with Goldentail watching he'd quickly resume his work, beginning to tend to some who were waking up with wounds that still needed treating.

Coalstar came back from a patrol, Junipernose had led the patrol right into a stinging nettle bush And a nedele was driven into his paw,he quickly pulled it out not wanting to go to the medicine cat den because he might seem weird.

"I know what's going on between you and that tom" Goldentail began, her creaky voice giving way to her age as she spoke to Icepelt, startling him momentarily. "You can't hide it from me."
Icepelt rolled his eyes in response as he began to lay out some herbs, passing them to whatever cat needed them, "There is nothing going on between Coalstar and I, we've been friends since we were kits we're just close is all."

Coalstar groaned when junipernose insisted on being carried to the medicine cat den.
he damaged the she to the den dropping her in the extra nest.

As soon as he heard the thud of a cat being placed in the den, his attention quickly shifted from his herbs to the injured cat, recognizing it as Junipernose. He examined the she-cat before looking over at Coalstar, "What happened this time?" he asked quietly.

"this bee-brain ran into some stinging nettle and demanded to be carried here" he paused "and I have a needle stuck in my pad, i took it out but it might need something so it won't get infected,
Coalstar looked at the tom with loving eyes, maybe Goldentail can take care of Junipernose and you help me" he joked slightly

He smirked at Coalstar's remarks before turning and retrieving Goldentail, the female medicine cat beginning to tend to Junipernose as he nudged Coalstar playfully, "Alright let's get it checked out."

He smiled and turned his paw over to see the pad, "It looks more sore than it is" he lied looking at the crimson on his paw gritting his teeth slightly.

Icepelt examined it momentarily before getting the proper herbs for it; burdock, before returning to the tom cat. "Luckily i've already created it into a paste ahead of time," he murmured sweetly before applying it onto his paw pad. "I recommend resting so to not damage or risk infection."
