Kennel 6-Male-Unknown canid/fruit bat/unknown bat
Username: q1q2q3q4
Dog Name: Oaris
A strange short figure wearing an oversized magicians hat entered the building. They didn't seem to be truly there though; they had an almost completely transparent body besides a faint, glitchy blue glow and a somewhat bold outline. They appeared to be holographic, and get they could touch and interact with the physical world. Without even speaking, everyone in the room suddenly recognised the being, as if they had already met somehow. Everyone suddenly recognised them as going by the name 'Zel'.
Zel faced directly towards the kennel. They stood there, saying nothing. They didn't even open their eyes. They tapped their food on the floor in sequences of three.
They just stood there and raised a hand up to the bars. The creature inside sniffed their hand. It seemed strangely calm, a behaviour nobody else gad been able to get when approaching the magnificent beast. Again, Zel said nothing.
Zel had simpily wondered into the shelter out of pure curiosity. They were drawn to strange creatures, particularly genetically modified creatures. They thought that they may find something of interest here, hopefully something to potentially study whilst they took the time to look around. Zel didn't expect to find a creature like this, however.
Zel understood him. He understood his reactions to everyone else. The world to this creature was so different that the world all of these people were experiencing. This world was dark and void of color. Images and light meant nothing. The only guide to sight, your hearing and sense of smell. Touch played a part in things too, but you'd much rather be able to see ahead of you instead of blindly bumping into things and trying to feel your way around. Zel personally related themself to this creature. They understood them well because they too lived in the same, scary reality. Without the gift of eyes, with nothing but echolocation to see ahead of you. When people clattered theirvway up to the kennel it was scary. It messed with your vision.
Zel dared to reach into the cage and they placed their hand firmly on the creatures forehead. Zel pictured it flying free in the paradise they called home and he smiled. Zel couldn't speak the name or vision they had come up with, for they were also mute. But somehow the creature understood. Zel appeared to speak the name 'Oaris', although their mouth never moved. Everyone in the room stopped and questioned their own sanity for a split second. Somehow this being couldn't speak, and yet everybody seemed to hear what they had to say. Strange.
Zel then left the kennel and stumbled over to collect a form. They arrived with no intensions of adopting anything, but here they were. They scribbled down their form in some rather fancy handwriting and submitted their form.
