i really don't like conflict and drama ooc, believe me, but first off: i super don't appreciate the insinuation that i am incapable of managing the events going on. there is nothing wrong with random ideas all over the place in the ooc chat, especially when we don't initially attach them to a specific point in the timeline. things like the usj event take priority and are definitive, they have a set point and are going to happen. however, there's lots of things we can discuss in the meantime until we hit another one of those events, and any idea brought up is not necessarily going to happen just because it was put out there. don't be discouraged from bringing up an idea just because there's a lot floating around. it's harmless to talk about things.

i apologize if i come across as rude or aggressive in talking about this, but i do not find it necessary to stop talking about ideas altogether until we reach some sort of 'completion goal' with the ones already suggested. we do not need to nix all discussion of future events. not trying to upset anybody, but there is absolutely no reason to treat this like a seriously plotted novel or something. it's my job to keep things running smoothly. suggestions are fine, but don't make decisions for me.

anyway, that aside, i am not at all opposed to making a poll and getting the opinions of everyone in a concise way, as that seems like a good way to keep the largest amount of people happy and determine what to do first. if you'd like to make a suggestion before i get to work on making the poll, go ahead and i'll add it to the list!

I agree with deku! I genuinely believe there is nothing wrong with brainstorming ideas and sharing them with everyone. How else are we going to get this rp going? How else are we to develop not only our characters, but our cognitive thinking? I much prefer the abundance of events that we have come up with, compared to my experience with other roleplays, where everything is just small talk with nothing big planned! Maybe we should have an official list where we keep all our ideas so we can pick from/poll from when we need a new event!

Speaking a polls, that's a good idea, too! It would be the most concise way of figuring out what everyone wants to do next instead of just yelling at each other here LMAO
