"We should keep looking for more prey." She said before picking up the rabbit in her jaws. Once more, she began to follow the barely trickling river. It wasn't much water but in the desert, animals will gather around any source of water as it was extremely valuable here.

"Oh! I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make ya sad!" His large ears flopped down against his head as he didnt mean to do that. "I lost my family too. My ma rejected me when I was born and died when my eyes were barely opened. My pa was killed by hunters when I reached eight months old." He wasn't sure how to comfort her as he didn't want to touch her and make her uncomfortable. "After my pa died, I fell into a pretty bad depression and stopped eating. But then Battle told me to not mourn the time I lost with him but to be thankful for the time I had with him. Over time, it helped me heal. I still miss him but I am thankful I got to know him." He hoped it helped, even a little. "I dont like to see a pretty coyote cry."
