The muscular brute slowly turned around, his brown tail whipped behind him. The dead deer
behind him as he stepped cautiously over it. Jakar looked down at the dark-colored leaves,
which crunched beneath his large paws. He approached the bush, sniffing it carefully. A large
animal jumped out of it. Jakar whined as the animal towered over him. It's huge teeth grazing
his face. Jakar knew what it was. It was the animal named after the territory! He had thought,
at least. Its brown-black fur was grim in the clouded sun. It had snarled at him in fury. And so,
the brute ran. He ran as fast as he could. He snatched the little piece of deer that remain and
kept running. He could hear the big animal roaring in fury behind him. It's massive black
paws stomping on the ground. Though, as scared as Jakar was, he knew he had to get
back to his den.

Nadie gathered the herbs that she found in the forest, slowly padding back towards camp. The she-wolf kept her ears perked and curious while she roamed the forest. She made her way into camp and towards her medicine den, placing the herbs in their respective places. Wagging her tail slightly as she was proud that her herb stash was full, Nadie headed out of her den, looking around for something to do.

Padding through camp, Thorn watched her fellow pack mates as they went about their days. It seemed like every wolf had something to do, a place in the pack, and Thorn was no different. Yet, today, she found her time fairly free. She hadn’t been asked to go on a hunt and there was nothing else that seemed to need attending to. A yawn parted her maw, tongue curling. Slowing her pace, Thorn turned towards the center of camp.
