One good thing about the hiatus is that is has motivated me to finally move all my simas to my TH. ^-^

Can anyone help me find the creator of this sima? I adopted them on DA but I can't find the original submission.

It looks like the base lines that’s Sparky frequently used. I believe they moved accounts on DA but I don’t know the current username. I think this is their current CS profile so you could check there.

HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT

Simas are on hiatus.

Any staff that have not contacted me or agreed to help out during the hiatus are relieved of their duties, and if you want to keep your position, please pm me and ask since I know not all of the staff are added to the Discord staff chat.

Keep in mind we aren't sure when this will reopen yet- it will reopen as soon as possible, though. We assume around September or October. Thank you all for your support, you have plenty of time to send your items and Simas my way to get them registered to the new archives.

Keep in mind, at this time, you may not gift or trade your Simas, finish and post MYOs or anything of the sort-- now including agings and transfers. I know we said we would continue this, but it may be easier for us while we make the archive move.

Otherwise, the rules of Simas are still in place. I've already gotten numerous PMs of people ready to get their Simas registered, and thank you so much for your cooperation, guys. I appreciate that you guys are so on board to get this done.

The doc below is for what you can and cannot do during the hiatus.

As for how to get your Simas and Items safely archived, please send me a PM with the following form.
Please label your pm title with "archive" in the BEGINNING of the PM so that it'll be placed in the right PM folder.
this is very important.
(ex; "Archive || my lists")

again, please make sure you have all of your items together before you send this pm.

The old archives will be branched into a first and second generation format. Please try to label your Simas as First or Second+ generation if possible-- if you have already sent in your form, don’t worry about it. We’ll figure it out. (7/29/2018)

please work on this as soon as possible, but remember that there's no deadline.
if you haven't done it and the hiatus is over, you cannot use your simas for breedings or events and they may be considered unofficial until you get them registered.

just making a quick announcement here since I've done it on discord already

there has been less assistance than what had been estimated at the beginning of the hiatus, so it has taken longer then we initially anticipated. because of this the hiatus will be pushed a bit further to give our crew a little bit less of a jarring due date and a little bit less stress. we have been working hard to improve the species the best we can and we appreciate your patience.

and due to this, and the fact that this kiddo has been waiting for an adoption for so long, I cleaned up their edits and put them up for adoption as compensation for the hiatus being longer than anticipated. please note that this doesn't permit anybody to put their simas up for re-adoption or anything of the sort-- this is merely a small poke that we are still working and alive and I couldn't leave you guys hanging with nothing at all in October.

hey everybody, I have an update.

It's about that time where I'm leaving the nest and moving in with my hubby finally, sooner than either of us anticipated. I need to start focusing on learning to adult as well as preparing to pack and leave the house.

I promise I haven't forgotten about simas. I've been thinking about them a lot and I do want to bring them back as soon as possible. However, for now, I need to remove the reopening date altogether as I'm uncertain about when the species will reopen.

Please keep in mind all rules are still in place and we are continuing to work on the archives and the species itself, so that isn't halted. If you see someone breaking the rules set in place, please report it to me or one of the other co owners. you can also talk to the mods, scei and/or takura. I'll answer any questions asked but I'll more likely reply quicker if you can get a hold of me on discord. feel free to PM me for that. if you want an invite to the Sima discord, please PM me, Glispa or ravemn.

For those waiting to gift Simas or sell them, thank you for being patient and I'm sorry. We'll have to figure something out as soon as possible for that but I can't do that right at this time. I hope you all understand and thank you for sticking around. Simas aren't closed for good.
